X PROTECTION FROM ABUSE PROCEDURE Please be advised that effective 9/28/15 Domestic Violence Services will be assisting all Protection from Abuse Petitioners at their recently assembled Legal Advocate Office at 45 E. Main Street, Suite 200, located inside Legal Aides Office. They will be available in the office Monday-Friday 8-4. The Legal Advocates for the Domestic Violence will complete the Petition and the PSP supplemental in the PFAD. They also will complete the Sheriff s form. Upon completion of the paperwork they will contact the assigned Judge s office to establish a time for the ex-parte hearing. Domestic Violence will continue to accompany the client to the hearing, where they will provide to the Judge a printed Petition and Sheriff s form.
