This plan is designated for employees traveling outside of their home country but is not available to employees who reside in the United States. Access to the Aetna U.S. network is available only to those subscribers who may travel on occasion to the United States. Our plan excludes coverage for U.S., Canadian, Chinese and UK Key local National or Local Nationals also U.S. bound expatriates, and US expatriates going to Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Bahamas, Guam and other island territories F (9/13)

About the medical plans Aetna International offers you the flexibility to choose the medical plan that best fits the needs of your members. Six medical plan design options are available. These medical plan design options offer either our Open Choice Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) or Open Access Managed Choice network for care received inside the U.S. Regardless of the medical plan chosen, your members have the freedom to visit a doctor or medical facility of their choice without a referral, anywhere in the world. Coverage levels and payment responsibilities may differ depending on the country in which members access care. Comprehensive global coverage Extensive plans of benefits All plans include medical, pharmacy, vision, emergency assistance services, an International Employee Assistance Program (IEAP) and health care counseling through the Informed Health Line. Optional benefits include dental, basic life and Accidental Death & Personal Loss (AD&PL).
