Alcohol consumption at Coogee Beach and Clovelly Beach Crime Data Review Results as discussed Injury and Fatal Crashes Speeding Offences DUI/PCA Offences Licence Offences Seatbelt/Helmet Offences Other Driving Offences Break & Enter Dwelling Steal From Dwelling Break & Enter Non Dwelling Malicious Damage Stolen Motor Vehicles Steal From Motor Vehicle Steal From Retail Store Assault (Non DV) Robbery Steal From Person Sergeant Withers (Traffic Supervisor) spoke about the outcome of recent operations held within the LAC targeting motoring enthusiasts as well as no stopping signage implemented at trouble areas. Superintendent Dengate spoke about signage in place on the beach as well as increased police patrols/presence of beaches. Police operations targeting specific beach offences have also been conducted. Injury and Fatal Crashes Down compared to last year. Well below Business Plan Target. Speeding Offences Almost doubled from same time last year, most likely due to increased Highway Patrol presence. DUI/PCA Offences Fewer incidents from last year, but an increase in police presence and RBT s has most likely had an effect on the number. Licence Offences - Tracking below business plan. Seatbelt/Helmet Offences - Tracking below business plan. Other Driving Offences - Tracking above business plan.

Police Rotary Awards, Eastern Long Weekend, Anzac Day. International Students and NSW Police Cricket Tournament at Parramatta. Increase in stealing incidents from the women s change room at La Perouse Proposed traffic lights at intersection of Bunnerong Road and Botany Road, Matraville. Traffic issues at roundabout at the intersection of Bunnerong Road and Little Bay Road, Little Bay. Oversize vehicles parking at Carr Street and Neptune Street, Coogee. Increased police patrols and public awareness. Sergeant Withers (Traffic Supervisor) to make enquires with the relevant agencies.
