This is true even if you haven t met your yearly deductible. These preventative services allow your doctor to help you stay healthy and prevent future health problems! COPAY-FREE SERVICES FOR WHO? Well-woman visit with a doctor or nurse Women under 65 Get a physical exam and talk about your health goals in order to stay healthy. Birth control (contraceptives) and counseling Sexually active women Prevent pregnancy until you are ready for a baby. STI (Sexually Transmitted Infections) and HIV testing Test for STIs such as chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis and HIV. Many infections have no or mild symptoms. Pap test (cervical cancer screening) Sexually active or pregnant women Sexually active women Check for cervical cancer cells early so you can treat it early and prevent cervical cancer. Breast cancer screening (mammogram) Check for breast cancer. Most women can survive breast cancer if it is found and treated early. Breastfeeding support, supplies, and counseling Women over 40 Pregnant women Talk to your doctor about breastfeeding. It is very healthy for you and your baby. Anemia screening Pregnant women Check your blood routinely, so you can protect yourself and your baby. Bone density test (osteoporosis screening ) Women over 60 Check the strength of your bones.
