6 Supportive Services for Veteran Families Program President Obama's goal: ending veteran homelessness by Veterans Affairs distributed $100 million in grants. FLACRA recieved a grant in partnership with the Veteran Outreach Center of Monroe County to assist 500 families. FLACRA was assigned 100 families to assist.

7 Ontario County Veterans Service Agency 2010 Annual Report Roughly, there are 5,100 veterans in Ontario County as of Our client estimates that more than 120,00 veterans will be returning to upstate NY this year. 8 OBJECTIVES On behalf of the Finger Lakes Addictions Counseling and Referral Agency, we aim to assist Veterans in Ontario County, by compiling a resources guide into one database. Currently, there is no accessible, existing guide that lists available services. Therefore we hope to assemble a guide that will contain a list of information about agencies and organizations. Our database guide will focus on specific institutions that provide housing, food, and employment. The database will be published in print and accessible online to help expand FLACRA s network of resources.

10 CONCLUSIONS More collaboration is needed between Ontario County Veteran assistance agencies As more soldiers return home, these providers will become increasingly utilized Ask new contacts to help us connect with the contacts they provide us There are numerous persons working on resource guides for veterans in Ontario County. Our hope is that our guide will be sustainable and will continue to expand
