2 HISTORY Finance Company Australia Pty Ltd has its origins in 1983 when Rob Rooke entered the Finance Broking industry with one of Western Australia s preeminent equipment finance brokers. In 1991 he established his own business which expanded to arrange equipment finance transactions, residential and commercial mortgages and undertake corporate advisory roles for its client base. In 2003 he sold that business into Centrepoint Finance WA Pty Ltd which itself was sold in 2006 into the public company Centrepoint Alliance Limited. In January 2009 Rob repurchased the company from Centrepoint Alliance and changed its name to Finance Company Australia Pty Ltd (FCA). TODAY Finance Company Australia currently employs a team of expert and dedicated personnel at its offices in West Perth and Bunbury, Western Australia. FCA also employs a number of regional brokers who work throughout Busselton, Mandurah, Kalgoorlie and the greater Western Australia. The company s principal focus is that it specialises in arranging residential and commercial mortgages, equipment finance, financial advice and has a corporate advisory arm. These activities have seen FCA grow into one of Western Australia s largest independent brokers. (Dip) FMBM Managing Director M E - [email protected] Rob Rooke, Managing Director and owner of FCA is a Foundation Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Rob's involvement in the Finance Broking Industry extends back to October 1983 during which time he has been an owner, director or Licensee of companies within the Finance Industry. He has served on a diverse range of public company boards, including the industries of Automotive Research and Development, Medical Products and Gold Mining; this experience provides the sound platform for his current activities. Rob is currently a director of: an unlisted public company in the Real Estate industry; a financial consulting business that provides management, economic evaluation, due diligence, accounting and audit services for the international oil and gas sector; and a corporate advisory business specialising in assisting Small and Medium Enterprises in preparing for change, be it acquisition, sale, restructuring or value enhancement. 9 Joshua De Buelle (Dip) FMBM Associate Director and Mortgage Finance M [email protected] Joshua's decision to enter the finance industry stemmed from a strong desire to become a specialist in property finance. Corporate Advisory M E - [email protected] Mick has been at the centre of corporate and commercial activity for over 30 years, as both an advisor and a participant personally and though companies as a shareholder and director or chairman. He has experienced and guided many substantial transactions from inception to completion, dealing with every aspect. He brings knowledge of the legal framework, the realities of commercial life from all sides of a transaction, the ability to cut to the chase and get things done. In recent times, Mick has brought his long corporate, legal and commercial experience to bear on issues of corporate fundraising, strategic advisory and business exits as a senior consultant in the Melbourne based firm Saxon Klein. He has a comprehensive knowledge of how the Banking System operates and what is required to put a deal together. Larry specialises in Development & Construction funding for small to large developments with facilities in excess of $1million. Larry enjoys travelling and a nice glass of wine.
