OPTIONAL PLANS The following plans are also available with all our health plans: The Global Travel plan Providing travel insurance cover for personal belongings, travel delays and cancellations during business trips and holidays. 6 GLOBAL PROTECTION PLAN - INCOME AND LIFE INSURANCE COVER These important benefits are available separately or together. PROTECT YOUR INCOME Have you ever considered what would happen if you couldn t work? How long would your employer continue to pay you? If you re self employed, how long could you carry on before your savings run out? The Global Income plan has been designed to provide the income you will need if you are unable to work due to illness or injury. If your disability prevents you from ever returning to work, your benefit will be paid monthly up until age 65. You may insure up to 75% of your salary and benefit payments start after 3 or 6 months of illness or injury. In the event of a claim, payments increase by 2% compound each year. PROTECT THE PEOPLE YOU CARE ABOUT Nothing can replace you, but money provided at the right time will ensure that your family or business will be financially secure without you. The Global Life plan provides life insurance cover up to age 65, provided you renew your plan each year.
