Her analyses have been based typically on micro-level data, collected through original surveys. She has fieldwork experience in Chile, Argentina, Costa Rica, and Italy. Her main areas of interest are Economic Development and Science & Innovation Studies, but her research approach is interdisciplinary and touches on other fields, such as: Economic Geography, Organization Studies, International Business and Network Analysis.

6 ADMINISTRATION Elisa is involved in three Faculty Committees: (1) International Committee, whose objective is strengthening the internationalization of the Faculty of Economics, promoting, selecting and managing Erasmus Students; organizing inter-faculty international exchanges; (2) Technical Committee, which is mainly involved in managing and resolving infrastructural and organizational problems existing within the premises of the Faculty/Departments (e.g. waste management; refurbishments; monitoring of cleaning activities, etc.) and (3) Study Plans Committee, involved in assisting students to design their study plans (type of exams, change of specialization and degree courses, etc.) and in assessing the validity of their study plans over time. PERSONAL Elisa was born in 1974, she is married and has a 1-year old daughter called Alice. She is Italian, and she speaks fluent English and Spanish. Last Updated: 8 th Jan 2011
