2 About The Field Poll Surveys Statewide surveys on health policy conducted by the nonpartisan Field Poll between December 2006 and May Conducted with grant funding provided to the Poll by The California Wellness Foundation and the California HealthCare Foundation. Conducted among random samples of California registered voters by professionally trained telephone interviewers working from Field s central location call center in San Diego. Interviews conducted in English and Spanish, and included both landline and cell phone telephone numbers. Samples developed by randomly selecting names of voters from the state voter registration rolls. Sample sizes typically range from 1,000 to 1,200 registered voters each. Sampling error for the statewide findings from most surveys: +/- 3 percentage points. 1 The Field Poll
