Banks and insurance companies base their loans and premiums on the reliability and availability of the IT landscape, customers like to operate their trading platforms in reliable data centers and, in the case of cloud computing, customers want to make sure that their data is protected according to applicable guidelines. Therefore, many companies face the question of how to assess their physical IT infrastructure in terms of reliability and availability. Together with the customer, the experts from TÜV Rheinland go through all the questions relevant to data center reliability, based on a list of criteria developed for this purpose.
