Congratulations on signing up for the Priority Pip Pullers list and making a commitment to improving your Forex trading results with the Forex Profit Accelerator. When it comes to trading, 30 years in the markets has taught me that simple is indeed better. So that s why I worked extra hard to make sure the Forex Profit Accelerator was easy to learn and simple to apply but also extremely powerful and flexible in terms of identifying the very best short term and longer term trading opportunities and then pulling as much potential profit out of those opportunities as possible. Even though I believe you ll quickly and easily learn the four Forex Profit Accelerator methods, I wanted to give you this Head Start Guide so that you have your trading tools all set up before the course even arrives at your doorstep! Here s what you ll be receiving in the mail when you confirm your order:

2 The booklet in the picture above that says READ THIS FIRST is the Quick Start Guide, and that will take you through every component of the Forex Profit Accelerator, including the recommended way to learn the material. But even before you tear open your 5-pound Forex Profit Accelerator package, this Head Start Guide will show you how to set up your charting software so you ve got that taken care of right away. Are you ready to begin? Let s get started. Charting Software Thankfully, most reputable Forex brokers offer good charting software that is integral with their trading platform for free. While this charting software should be adequate to apply the Forex Profit Accelerator indicators, some of our students prefer to use more upscale charting software that I ll cover in a moment. In either case, your charting software must be able to plot the following indicators in order to apply the Forex Profit Accelerator trading methods to the markets.

3 Indicators The indicators we ll be using with the Forex Profit Accelerator are: Simple Moving Average Simple Moving Average Envelopes Slow Stochastics ADX that s it! Now, remember what I said about simple being better. Even though these are very common indicators, an indicator by itself is not a trading method. I m going to teach you an uncommon way to use these indicators in your Forex Profit Accelerator CD-ROM Tutorials and reference guide. For now, if you already have charting software, check to see that it lets you plot these indicators on a chart. Taking it one step further, you ll need to check to see if you can configure these indicators as follows: Simple Moving Average (SMA) based on the low & high o 3 day SMA o 9 day SMA. o 18 day SMA. o 40 day SMA. Simple Moving Average (SMA) Envelopes o 9 day SMA envelopes Stochastics o Slow Stochastics, with the settings 8,3,3 (or just 8,3 if your software only lets you use 2 parameters). Specifically, we ll be using the %K value. ADX o Average Directional Index, with the settings 14,14. If you can t plot these indicators with your current charting software, don t worry! I ll show you some software that I use all the time that can plot these indicators.

4 Trade Alerts Included in the course are the specific trade alert criteria for each method if you are using upscale charting software. By programming these criteria into your software, you will then have the ability to generate Trade Alerts, which are those Forex pairs that meet the Forex Profit Accelerator setup conditions. HOT TIP! If your software doesn t have trade alert capability, or if you d just like to save even more time and get spoon fed a list of Forex pairs every night that have already been scanned by me, you can use my Pip Feeder service. This will be free for you as a Forex Profit Accelerator student for a period of time, and will eventually cost a nominal monthly fee. Please note that the Pip Feeder is NOT required if your charting software has trade alert capability, but many of my students have requested a service like this, so you have the option of using it. Specific Charting Software Solutions Here are some charting software solutions I recommend. I may be adding others to this list over time, as new solutions become available. I personally use all of these programs. 1. Broker Provided Software: Here are some very popular software solutions provided by most reputable Forex brokers. While these are free, they don t offer trade alert capability as of the writing of this document. However, you can visually inspect each Forex pair to determine if a trade alert has set up, or you can use our Pip Feeder service to help you in this regard. a. VT Trader b. MetaTrader For more information, please check with your broker. 2. Recommended Upscale Software: These are my favorite upscale software solutions for trading Forex. a. Genesis Trade Navigator - This is a very high quality trading analysis software package that includes trade alert capability. The software cost is reasonable given the quality of the package and supported by a very reasonably priced data service. For more information, visit b. TradeStation This has excellent graphics and trade alert capability, and is a very high-end and robust trading solution. For

Advanced GET This is a trading analysis software package developed by Tom Joseph that includes several of Tom's proprietary indicators as well as most standard indicators. It is available in two versions, one for end of day and delayed data; the other for real time data. It also features Tom's unique application of Elliot Wave Theory in the form of reliable setup, entry and exit rules. Advanced GET (end of day data version) has excellent stock search screening capability and easy to save countless charts and watch lists. Data is available through esignal in 60 minute, daily, weekly and monthly increments. For more information, visit Next Steps Now you know exactly what you need for your charting software. Once you have a solution that you re comfortable with, here are the next steps you should take. 1. Watch the Head Start Guide Videos I put online for you. These will give you a detailed overview of how to set up some of the trade alert criteria formulas for the Forex Profit Accelerator. They also show how to plot the indicators and set up templates using VT Trader, Trade Navigator, and Advanced GET. Even if you re using different software, these videos will be helpful to watch because the techniques are very similar from software to software. 2.
