2 What is Covered CA? A new online marketplace to find affordable health insurance options under the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
3 New Options for Getting Health Insurance Option 1: Medi-Cal Program FREE State-run program for low-income individuals and families Now open to families and adults without children FREE coverage for those who qualify! Note: Eligibility is based on income relative to the Federal Poverty Level (FPL). Individuals and families making up to 138% FPL may be eligible for Medi-Cal. According to 2013 Federal Poverty Guidelines, FPL is $11,490 for an individual and $23,550 for a family of 4 (
