14 How do I build these connections? We did it for you! Sangoma Tapping Box 1 TAP box required for each T1/E1 Use Regular RJ45 cables with A102 and A104 Use A108 split cable with A108 You will need to make RJ45 cables to use with T116 nothing complicated here 4 way split with T

15 T116 Cable Making 1 Each connector on the T116 accepts four T1/E1 receiver pairs Four twisted pairs are spliced to each RJ-45 to achieve full capacity 15

16 Watch your Pins! 1 For T1/E1, 4 pins used 2 for transmit (TX pair) 2 for receive (RX pair) TX pairs on one end connect to RX pairs on the other end Normally pins 1, 2, 4, 5 are used 1 and 2 for RX / 4 and 5 for TX Sometimes Telco equipment reverses this order to use straight cable When creating your interconnections you need to understand for all equipment involved the pin-out layouts For Sangoma, you can find this here: 16
