INTRODUCTION The Space Science Mission Concurrent Design Platform mainly aims to the phase 0 assessment studies of future missions for Chinese space science exploration. Established in 2007 Equipment and Infrastructure 16 Design Stations 24 Software Tools Being Upgraded
INTRODUCTION National Space Science Center (NSSC) was officially launched at the Center for Space Science and Applied Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences in the morning of July 7, The most important duty is to carry out a so called strategic pioneer project space science. The Space Science Project includes development of five space science satellites, select and support several new mission studies before the engineering phase, support a number of long term enabling technology studies for future.
Table of Contents 1. INTRODUCTION 2. WHY DO WE NEED A PRIVATE CLOUD? 3. CONCEPTUAL MISSION DESIGN TOOLS 4. ANALYSIS TOOLS 5. SYSTEM-LEVEL SIMULATION 6. CONCLUSION
WHY DO WE NEED A PRIVATE CLOUD? In the Twelfth Five-Year period(2011~2015), the following 7 projects will be conducted in Space Science Strategic Pioneer Program: Project 1: Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope(HXMT) Project 2: Shijian-10 Project 3: Quantum Science Satellite Project 4: Dark Matter Searcher (DMS) Project 5: Kuafu Project Project 6: Study of New Space Science Missions Project 7: Advanced Research of Space Science Mission and Payload
WHY DO WE NEED A PRIVATE CLOUD? Project 6 aims at selecting appropriate new science missions, consolidating their scientific objectives, optimizing the exploration plans and developing key technologies, so as to make good preparation for implementing the mission in the "Thirteenth Five-Year" plan. Geographically widely distributed Not familiar with the technical field Want to quickly get a mission profile
WHY DO WE NEED A PRIVATE CLOUD? The private cloud for space science will be constructed on the basis of CSTNET.
WHY DO WE NEED A PRIVATE CLOUD? The Space Science Mission Concurrent Design Platform will be an important service provider of private cloud for space science.
Table of Contents 1. INTRODUCTION 2. WHY DO WE NEED A PRIVATE CLOUD? 3. CONCEPTUAL MISSION DESIGN TOOLS 4. ANALYSIS TOOLS 5. SYSTEM-LEVEL SIMULATION 6. CONCLUSION
CONCEPTUAL MISSION DESIGN TOOLS We are currently developing a common and user friendly environment where conceptual design tools can be integrated enabling quickly and easily mission design and analysis.
CONCEPTUAL MISSION DESIGN TOOLS We have developed a software visualize outer space in 3D a whole coordinate systems based on space science data by applying Vega Prime The targets selection software will be developed based on this consistent visualization software involved outer space targets and environment.
CONCEPTUAL MISSION DESIGN TOOLS Business software Expensive Not easy to be grasped Not well combined with the space environment visualization software We are currently developing an Orbit and Attitude Design Tool which allows the user to determine the satellite s orbit and attitude in the visualization environment of outer space and the targets.
CONCEPTUAL MISSION DESIGN TOOLS The wizard guides the process, making the design process highly efficient.
CONCEPTUAL MISSION DESIGN TOOLS

A platform so called Visual Space. ANALYSIS TOOLS Which is a common visual simulation and analysis platform. Including External Heat Flux Analysis, Coverage Analysis of Sensor, Space-Ground Link Analysis, etc.
ANALYSIS TOOLS The analysis is based on targets selection External Heat Flux Analysis the conditions of observation the orbit and attitude design the payload layout. Sky Coverage Analysis
