Courses being presented for approval that propose new award designations must have the prior approval of the Academic Board The Academic Board may approve particular variant titles and abbreviations for restricted use on specific courses without this requiring that they become generally available; such variants shall not normally require separate definition provided the criteria are defined in the relevant course definitive documents.
