Created and administered a graduate-level service-learning program working with refugees and members of underrepresented groups Supervised a service-learning project with the Internal Revenue Service's Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, preparing tax returns for a diverse group of lowincome and non-english speaking people. Assisted some 350 migrant farm laborers, a 250% one year increase; supervised 50 student volunteers and language interpreters, a 500% one year increase; developed community partnerships with eight organizations, a 400% one year increase. Received the IRS Spirit of America award.
