(a) Participation in Job Fairs: State Representative Janet Cruz s 2015 Job Fair nel Involved: Sales Assistant & Promotions Assistant The Employment Unit participated in this Job Fair at Higgins Hall on July 22, 2015 from 10am-2pm. The Employment Unit handed out information on our stations recruiting for part-time and full-time positions, internships and discussed broadcast careers with job seekers. AB Career Fair On April 15th, 2015, the employment unit participated in the ational Association of Broadcaster s Career Fair in Las Vegas, evada. The event attracted hundreds of individuals interested in a career in broadcasting. Attending the session were our VP Corporate Communications who has a substantial role in the recruiting and hiring processes. (b) Initiative: Internship Program The Employment Unit hosts an internship program, in which college students receive credit and receive job training in skills necessary for broadcast employment.
