PROFILE SUMMARY Gianpaolo Abatecola is a Senior Research Fellow (equivalent to Senior Assistant Professor) in Management at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, from which he earned a Degree (laurea) in Business Administration (Supervisor Prof. Roberto Cafferata) and a PhD. in Management and Organizational Behavior. He then served the Sant Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa as a post-doc scholar. Dr. Abatecola s research interests mainly lie in the following fields: Evolutionary Approaches to the Theory of the Firm; Organizational Adaptation and Life Cycle; Managerial Decision Making, Behavioral Strategy and Executives Personality; Corporate Turnaround.
