6 Settlement Amounts vs. Charge Types Background Market Rule Definitions settlement amount means any amount of money to be paid by or to a market participant, determined in accordance with Chapter 9 charge type means the identifier designating an item on an invoice or settlement statement The IESO Market Rules do NOT... describe how a settlement amount should be translated into a charge type describe the item on a settlement statement or invoice that a charge type identifies The development of charge types is part of the implementation design to be developed with the Settlements Working Group 6
