The number of license audits increased dramatically throughout the last years. The risk of audits cannot be foreseen. Economic and legal reasons enhance the importance to provide the license management with reliable and up-to-date information about the installed and used software. Analysts state that 70% of software license and maintenance costs are produced in the datacenters. 18 eoracle Oracle DB Software Metering The solution module eoracle is based on the Oracle Database Engine of the platform and manages all necessary information for a review of the Oracle databases. The engine prepares all relevant information for an Oracle DB review. The processed information can be viewed and analyzed using the Web-GUI or could be transferred by interface to a SAM solution. The integrated export interface provides the information in the form of Excel or CSV files. Our Oracle Database Engine is verified and released by Oracle as an official third party tool for capturing and measuring Oracle database software.
