6 About the Founders Pastor Peter Doseck - For over 29 years Pastor Peter Doseck has faithfully and zealously declared a life-changing message of faith in Jesus Christ with impact and demonstration to the four corners of the earth. His dynamic Miracle Crusades have resulted in over 1.6 million salvations and thousands of miraculous healings. In the last five years more than 36,000 pastors and fivefold ministers from around the world have been transformed by impartation meetings with Pastor Doseck. Traveling to 19 nations around the globe, Pastor Doseck is dedicated to preaching and teaching the gospel of Jesus Christ with signs following. Pastor Doseck also reaches over 70 nations throughout Europe, the Middle East, and Russia with his television program, Only Believe. His powerful teachings are translated into native languages with a potential audience of over 40 million households every week. Pastor Doseck is a noted author whose books have impacted countless lives, and he is also founder and senior pastor of Only Believe Ministries Christian Center (OBMCC) in Botkins, Ohio. Arising from a dirt floor garage in 1982 with only one member, today OBMCC is blessed with a growing membership that exceeds the population of the town in which the church is located. Truly Pastor Doseck is a man of great character, unusual courage, and miraculous faith. Pastor Phyllis Doseck - Pastor Phyllis Doseck is the founder and senior pastor of Only Believe Ministries Christian Center (OBMCC) in Botkins, Ohio. The church began in the living room of a simple ranch home on March 28, 1982, and has grown to nearly 2,000 members in a tiny town of only 1,200. The congregation of OBMCC travels to Botkins from over 60 communities and 10 counties to experience what God is doing in this miraculous church. Because of the church s explosive growth, OBMCC enjoys a 140,000 square foot facility that includes a sanctuary seating 3,100 people, the 7 th expansion for this thriving congregation. Pastor Phyllis is actively involved in the administration of OBMCC, and she plays a key role in ministering to all types of needs within the church. Pastor Phyllis provides sound teaching from the pulpit whenever the opportunity arises, and she travels as God leads her to minister in venues around the country, as well as in other nations. Pastor Phyllis speaks directly from her heart to the hearts of men and women, delivering a fresh revelation of God s Word as she teaches and preaches. Her vision is clear and her ministry is intently focused on changing lives. Pastor Phyllis believes whole-heartedly that All things are possible to those who only believe. 5

7 Statement of Faith We Believe That the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative written Word of God. (2 Timothy 3:16.) There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, Jesus Christ - God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19) In the deity of our Lord Jesus, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His substitution and atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return to this earth in power and glory. In the Blessed Hope the rapture of the Church at Christ s coming. (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; 1 Corinthians 15:51-57) That the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ. (John 14:6; Acts 2:38; Ephesians 1:7) That regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation. (John 3:3; Titus 3:5; 2 Corinthians 5:17-21) That the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides for healing of the human body in answer to the believing prayer of faith. (1 Peter 2:24; James 5:14-15; Isaiah 53:4-5; Matthew 8:16-17) In the infilling of the Holy Spirit, which is given to believers who ask for it. (Acts 2:4; Acts 8:15-19; Acts 19:1-7) In water baptism as an outward sign to the world of the regeneration of the inner man. (1 Peter 3:21) In the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life. (1 Corinthians 6:11; Romans 8:13) In the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; one to everlasting life, the other to everlasting damnation. 8 Mission Statement Our mission is to equip men and women with a strong foundation in the Word of God so that they may go forth into all the world and make disciples for Jesus Christ. We stand ready to prepare fivefold ministers, lay ministry leaders, and passionate believers who want to pursue their call in life. We believe in a proactive, step-by-step approach to training men and women in foundational Christian doctrine. We believe in producing students who can not only live and demonstrate what they have learned, but who can also teach and train others to follow them as they follow Christ. 9 Admissions Admissions Policy Only Believe Ministries Online Bible College (OBMOBC) was founded to provide in-depth biblical studies for men and women who seek to prepare themselves for the work of the ministry as described in Ephesians 4:11-12: And He gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ. Recognizing that not all are called to a five-fold office, but all are called to the work of the ministry and the edifying of the body of Christ, OBMOBC seeks to combine practical teaching with increased awareness of and access to spiritual understanding and impartation so that the graduating student will be prepared for Kingdom service, no matter what role he or she may assume. A prospective student must be a professing Christian who has been born again according to John 3:3. The student must maintain a separated life so that those within and without the church will recognize a fruitful, Spirit-filled lifestyle combined with Christian character and integrity. A prospective student will be assessed according to his or her lifestyle and personal experiences, educational background, individual incentive for in-depth study, as well as by known character. Application Procedure Applicants must download the application, complete each section truthfully, and return it to the address indicated on the application with a $25.00 non-refundable application fee. References should be sent to the school s address directly. Prospective students may apply for the Year One course schedule at any time. 8

10 Academic Policies Course Availability OBMOBC is a non-accredited two year online Bible college that offers a diverse course schedule with maximum flexibility. Year One courses will be available online beginning on February 6, Courses are scheduled to last through the end of May, 2012, and will begin again on September 4, 2012, with a scheduled completion by mid-december. Year Two courses will be available to the student upon completing Year One, with a start date of February 4, 2013, and a similar schedule as that available in Each course must be completed, the online exam completed and graded, and a passing grade attained before the next course may be accessed. Students may proceed at their own pace. Course Load The Year One course load includes 100 actual lecture hours. Courses are developed by the school s founders, and substitutions by the student or course rearrangement are not allowed. Courses will be offered in succession, and they will be available online at all times. The Year Two course load includes 100 actual lecture hours. All application and course fees are non-refunable. Course Requirements Students must maintain a passing grade to continue in the college. The grading system as is follows: Grade Scores A+ 100% A 90-99% B 80-89% C 70-79% D 60 69% F 59% or less 9

11 Financial Policy Expenses Application Fee There is a one-time application fee of $25.00 which must accompany the completed application. Year One Course Fee - The Year One course fee is $100.00, at a rate of $1.00 per hour of teaching. This fee includes all download options, exams, administrative fees, and graduation expenses. Year Two Course Fee - The Year Two course fee is $100.00, at a rate of $1.00 per hour of teaching. This fee includes all download options, exams, administrative fees, and graduation expenses. Payment of Fees Application Fee The $25.00 application fee must accompany the application, and it is nonrefundable. Course Fees Course fees may be paid in full immediately after acceptance into the college, or students may opt for a two payment plan of $50.00 per month for two months. Students will receive their online ID and password which will enable them to download course materials upon receipt of full payment, or upon agreement to a payment plan. Payment Plan - Course fees may be paid in two installments after completion of the Financial Agreement Form. This form is available upon request. You may contact the financial department at ext. 232, or at mgilbert@obmcc.org. Two monthly payments will be automatically billed to the credit card number you provide on the form. The form must be returned to OBMOBC for approval review at least two weeks prior to the date you wish to begin classes. The monthly payment rate will be $55.00 per month for two months, which includes a $5.00 per month transaction fee. Returned Payment Fees A charge of $25.00 will apply to any returned check or denied credit card transaction. Students from Only Believe Ministries Christian Center - Please do not include fees with your tithe or offering checks or drop fees in the offering bucket during church services. 20 Certificate of Biblical Studies Every student who completes all 100 hours of teaching and who passes all accompanying exams will receive a Certificate of Biblical Studies for Year One. This certificate will be available within 60 days of completing all course materials. A second certificate will be available for those who go on to complete Year Two studies. Only Believe Ministries Online Bible College (OBMOBC) in a non-accredited organization whose sole purpose is to train individuals for the work of the ministry and for everyday Christian living. No credits are available for transfer to other organizations, and no credits may be transferred to OBMOBC from other institutions of higher learning. 19
