Fasting: The only meats we will eat are chicken, fish and turkey. We will eat NO fried foods, no sweets and no sodas throughout the course of these 21 days. We are encouraged to make healthier food choices, eating more fruit/vegetables and drink more water. Prayer: Please set aside some time each day to focus on the following scriptures and join us in our daily prayer. Sept 1 st ( Day 1) ~ Cultivating Spiritual Hunger (Mark 1:12-13, Matthew 5:6, Matthew 6:19-21, 2 Timothy 2:20-22) Lord, give me a spiritual hunger that I have never known. Increase my thirst for righteousness, for purity, for holiness, for You! Break the power of sin and worldly habits that keep me from You. Pour Your cleansing, living water through me and make me a vessel that You can use to refresh others. Make me an instrument of Your healing and compassion. Use me in Your service. Help me to remember the brevity of my life and to store up treasures in Heaven. Sept 2nd (Day 2) ~ Drawing Closer to God (Psalm 24:3-4, Psalm 32:5) Today we draw near to God. We confess our sin. We reveal the part of our life that puts His love for us to the test (at least in our minds). And praise God again... He proves His love. He forgives and loves us anyway. Sept. 5 th (Day 3) ~ Unwavering Faith (James 1:2-7, Matthew 17:20, Romans 8:28, Romans 12:2) Lord, please help me to stand firm in my faith as I walk with You. You are my strong tower. I know I can trust in You. Guard and renew my mind, body, soul and spirit in Christ Jesus according to Your will. May each one line up with the Word of God. May my life be filled with faith and expectation that You are working all things for good. Give me faith to move mountains, knowing that You have promised to do the impossible so that You may be glorified. May my life, thoughts and expectations reflect Yours, my King and my God. Sept. 6 th (Day 4) ~ Praying Instead of Worrying (Philippians 4:6-7, Proverbs 3:1-6, Jeremiah 29:11-13, Isaiah 41:10-13) Lord, You know how often my mind goes to worry and not to trusting You. May my thoughts be quicker to turn into prayers to You because You know the plans You have for me, and they are
plans to prosper me and not to harm me. Thank You for Your peace that surpasses all understanding as I place my confidence in You and believe You are at work in my life. Sept. 7 th (Day 5) ~ Worshipping with Your Whole Heart (Psalm 111:1, Psalm 27:8) Humbly and yet confidently, I come into Your presence. I am relying on the promise of Christ, providing me the relationship with You as my Heavenly Father. Bring me fully into Your presence O God. Lead me more fully into Your will so that every day of my life will be worship, offering a living sacrifice to bring You glory. Sept. 8 th (Day 6) ~ Setting the Desire of your Heart (Psalm 27:4, Psalm 37:4) Lord I want You to be the top priority of my life with nothing even close in second place. Help me, Father, to love You more than I ever have before. I want You to fill my heart, all of it, so Your love and grace can flow richly through me to everyone I come in contact with. Sept. 9 th (Day 7) ~ Relying on God (Romans 7:18-20, Ephesians 4:22-23) Lord give me the desire to please You in all things. I confess I want to do things my way. Forgive my stubbornness and pride. Help me to choose your way. I humbly ask you for grace and a willingness to yield to the Holy Spirit who lives in me. May my life reflect Your will for me. Help me to to away childish things and put on love. Help me to stop actions that are harmful to me and others. Today I put on compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Give me grace to forgive as You have forgiven me. Sept 12 th (Day 8) ~ Walking in Wisdom and Revelation (Psalm 43:3, Ephesians 1:17-18) Lord, open my eyes to see You more clearly and my ears to hear anything You desire to speak. I pray for a Spirit of wisdom and revelation that I might know Jesus more deeply and have a profound understanding of the hope that is in His heart for me. Sept. 13 th (Day 9) ~ Being Filled with Power and Purpose (Psalm 61:3-5, Psalm 92:11, Romans 15:13) Father God, I pray for You to help me stay connected to the Vine. Lord, I desire You in every aspect of my life. Please prune off the things that are not important and get in the way of my time with You. I know that I can only fulfill your purpose for me by being filled with Your Holy Spirit. Sept. 14 th (Day 10) ~ Your Spoken Word (John 11:38-44, Isaiah 50:40, Ephesians 4:29, Matthew 12:33-37) Father, Thank You that Your Word is life and power to me and to others. Your Word brings hope to things that appear to have no hope. May Your words take root in my heart so that I can
bring life, power and encouragement to others who are weary. Place a deep hunger in my heart for Your words so that I can memorize and recall Your words when needed. May the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be pleasing in Your sight, oh Lord, my rock and my redeemer. Sept.15 th (Day 11) ~ Finding and Fulfilling Your Destiny (Psalm 139:24, Psalm 18:3, Psalm 37:23, Psalm 44:18) Lord, please give me the next step in Your Divine plan for my life. Help me to be still and know that You are God, so that I can clearly sense Your guidance and hear from You. I commit to follow You forever. Sept. 16 th (Day 12) ~ Producing the Fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22, 1 Corinthians 13:4) Gracious God, I thank You for Your Word that describes so clearly what love is and for Your Son Jesus who humbly modeled it on earth for us. Help me to produce the Fruit of Your Spirit and love in a way that pleases You. May I always have a love that protects, trusts, hopes, and perseveres. Sept. 19 th (Day 13) Humbling Yourself (Matthew 17:14-16, Isaiah 66:2, Colossians 3:12-14, James 4:6-10) Lord, I bow before You realizing You are sovereign, almighty, and all powerful. I thank You that in Your greatness You still love and care for me. Your ways and thoughts are so much higher than mine, and I acknowledge my need for You. May I have a meek and humble spirit like Jesus. Remove pride from my life, for I confess I am nothing without You. I submit my life to You once again. I pray You remove disappointment and discouragement from me as I trust in You and Your perfect will. Help me to be humble and gentle to those around me. Thank You for working in my heart. I love You. Sept. 20 th (Day 14) ~ Knowing Your Assignment (Luke 4:1-2, 14-15, Psalm 37:3-7, Isaiah 48:17-18, Romans 1:1-2) I know You have a purpose for my life, but I don t always know what that is. I ask for a clear calling and discernment as I desire to live out the assignment You have given me. Thank You that when You call me to something, You also completely equip me. I pray that You alone will work through me and that others will see You in me. Thank You for choosing me and giving me a purpose. Sept. 21 st (Day 15) ~ Living a Balanced Life (Ecclesiastes 3:1-8) Please show my any areas where I need to reorder my priorities. Guide me to solutions that will help me live my life in a way that is pleasing to You. I desire for my steps to be ordered in Your word. I want to please You in all that I do. Help me not to neglect my body in which you dwell.
Help me not to neglect my family by being to busy for them. Forgive me Lord for not using my time wisely. Thank you lord for being faithful to me even when I am unfaithful to the time You have given me. Sept. 22 nd (Day 16) ~ Salvation and Deliverance (Psalm 18:2, Psalm 16:11, Acts 16:31) Father, I pray for the hurting and lost of this world. Be their Rock, their Redeemer. Use me in effective ways to show Your love. Enter into the hearts of those far from You. Be their Savior; deliver them into a transforming relationship with You. I pray for any loved ones by name who do not know the Lord or have fallen away from You. I ask You to reveal Yourself to them as the awesome God that You are. I pray a hedge of protection around my family from all deception, temptation, and any plans of the enemy that would thwart the plans God has for them. Sept. 23 rd (Day 17) ~ Being Healed and Reconciled (Psalm 170:20, Psalm 147:3, Malachi 4:6) Father God, You know everything about me. You know the challenges and hope that I have. I pray that You would guide my prayers, thoughts, and actions. I pray that You would give me spiritual eyes to see You in my life and give me the desire and ability to respond in a way that pleases You. Teach me what You want me to learn and help me to grow closer to You each day. June 3rd Sept. 26 th (Day 18) ~ Experiencing God s Presence and Power (Psalm 43:3-4) God, I pray that Your Spirit comes down in real and powerful ways in my life. Come alongside me today and demonstrate who You are. Show me the power of Your radical love, show me who I am because of what You have done, and show me how that can impact those around me with Your will and love. Come alongside me in my interactions with others, in my conversations with You, and in how I treat my family and my friends. Be near to me, show me Your presence and Your power, and make me a different person because of how You love me. But more than anything, I pray that You show up in my life. I acknowledge that there is no church, there is no faith without You, and so I pray that You are present and vibrant in all that I think, say, and do. Sept. 27 th (Day 19) ~ Receiving a Fresh Outpouring of God s Spirit (Psalm 51:2, Psalm 51:7, Mark 2:22) Lord, I pray for times of refreshing as Your Word and Holy Spirit s presence cleanse and renew me. I pray that I will be spiritually-minded and that I will say yes to Your way and will through me. Thank you for Your faithfulness to me! I pray that my spiritual family will receive a fresh outpouring of Your Spirit! Sept. 28 th (Day 20) ~ Being Aligned with Heaven (Matthew 6:10, Isaiah 58:1-20, James 1:27) Father, Your word is very clear about Your will is. Your desire for us to reach out to the lonely, oppressed, marginalized and lost. Please help my will to line up with Yours. Please help me to
care about others more than I care about the comforts or problems in my own life. Please open my eyes to who you want me to bless. Sept. 29 th (Day 21) ~ Being Filled with God s Glory (Psalm 22:27-28, Habakkuk 2:14) Sovereign God, I pray that believers would be a city set on a hill and salt and light to the world. I ask that I would influence others with righteousness. I pray You give me Your perspective on reaching this world with the Love of Jesus. Lord, instill in me a passion to join You in the mission of pursuing people to know You so that You are glorified among all nations and peoples. Lord, may I hunger and thirst after You and your desire that for all people. Any Notes Or Revelations that God Gives in 21 Days
