(Optional) Assemble DECK PLATE () and PUTTY PLATE () to FAUCET BODY () with SCREW (). Fig. 0' SENSOR CABLES. Connect the two " EXTENSION CABLES () to the Faucet Sensor Cables.. Insert " EXTENSION CABLES (), FLEX HOSE () and SPOUT SHANK () through center hole of mounting surface.. Assemble "C" WASHER (8) and LOCKNUT (0) onto threads of SPOUT SHANK () from underside of mounting surface. 0. Align FAUCET () and tighten LOCKNUT (0). 4 MOUNT CONTROL BOX; Fig.. Determine location of CONTROL BOX (). It must be located with-in the " (mm) by " (mm) shaded area shown in Figure in order for electrical connections from the spout assembly to be made. TE: CONTROL BOX SUPPLY HOSE is 0". Distance between wall supply and CONTROL BOX () must be taken into consideration.. Remove tape from CONTROL BOX COVER () and pull off COVER (). Hold the CONTROL BOX () in desired location and mark the four mounting hole locations as shown. TE: Find plastic bag containing MX screws to be used for securing the CONTROL BOX COVER () when installation is complete. TE: For AC installation, make power supply connection before mounting CONTROL BOX () to wall.. It is recommended that the CONTROL BOX () be secured to a wall stud or cross brace within the wall using the SCREWS () supplied. If the CONTROL BOX () is to be installed on tile or plaster walls, the ANCHORS () and SCREWS () should be used. CONNECT SPOUT HOSE TO CONTROL BOX; Fig. Fig.. Connect SUPPLY NUT () from spout hose to nipple on top of CONTROL BOX (). Tighten with adjustable wrench to make a water tight connection. Fig.. Insert FIBER WASHER () into SUPPLY NUT () on CONTROL BOX ().. Connect FLEXIBLE SUPPLY HOSE () to SUPPLY NUT () on CONTROL BOX (). Tighten to make a water tight connection. Use two wrenches to tighten if necessary. Fig.. Fig. a. Connect FLEXIBLE SUPPLY HOSE () directly to wall supply. Connection on FLEXIBLE SUPPLY HOSE () is /8" compression. Use adjustable wrench to tighten connection. Do not over tighten. Fig. a. Note: FLEXIBLE SUPPLY HOSE () measures 0" from the bottom of the CONTROL BOX () base. If additional supply length is required, installer must purchase parts separately. COLD WATER OR TEMPERED WALL SUPPLY Important: If FLEXIBLE SUPPLY HOSE () is too long, loop to avoid kinking. Remove solid black plug grommet from left side of all CONTROL BOX (), and replace with GRAY GROMMET (b). (Supplied with each Faucet).. Feed " EXTENSION CABLES () through the top of CONTROL BOX (). Connect one " EXTENSION CABLE () to the SOLEID CABLE (), and the other to either of the two terminals at the one end of the Y-ADAPTER (). Connect the current unit s 0' EXTENSION (0a) to available terminal of the Y-ADAPTER (). a 0a a 0b. Feed the other end of the 0 ft.extension (0b) through the two GRAY GROMMETS (a and b) and connect to the single terminal of the next unit s Y-ADAPTER (). Place Y-ADAPTER () into CONTROL BOX ().. Repeat Steps above for each additional Unit, for a Max. of Units on one AC POWER SUPPLY.. Replace CONTROL BOX COVERS. 8 TEST INSTALLED FAUCET TO ENSURE A LAMINAR WATER FLOW, the air must be slowly purged from the spout. To do so, cover the SENSOR () while slowly opening the water supply valves. When the water flows as a solid, smooth, steady stream, uncover the SENSOR () and fully open the water supply valve. Fig.. MAINTENANCE A HAND WASH SENSOR OPERATION; Fig. When the Sensor detects a user, the water immediately starts to flow. Water flow will stop seconds after user is out of sensor range. The off delay allows the user to comfortably move his hands without the flow cycling on and off. As a precaution, a safety timer will turn off the water, after the sensor has been blocked for 9 seconds. The water will stay off until the blockage is removed from the detection zone. Disconnect Power Supply (), then reconnect. Fig... While the SENSOR CONTROL LED () is blinking slowly, place your hand - in. (0-0mm) in front of the sensor. Fig. a.. When the LED stops blinking and stays "ON", move your hand to the desired position and hold in place until the LED begins to blink again. Fig. a.. Once the SENSOR CONTROL LED () begins to blink again, remove your hand from the detection zone. When the flashing stops, the detection distance is set.. Replace CONTROL BOX COVERS (). Tighten cover screws firmly. Fig. a BLINKING LED " - " (0mm - 0mm BLINKING LED UP TO 0" (0mm) C CLEAN FILTER ASSEMBLY; Fig. CAUTION Before opening CONTROL BOX disconnect AC power supply.. Remove CONTROL BOX COVER.. Close SUPPLY STOP () with mm Hex wrench. Note: Activate sensor to keep water flowing out of faucet while shutting off.. Unthread FILTER ASSEMBLY () using a /" socket.. Pull out the FILTER ASSEMBLY (), remove and clean white debris cup and filter screen.. Install the FILTER ASSEMBLY () back in its place and tighten with a /" socket. Caution: Do not over tighten.. 9 D INSTALL / REPLACE THE BATTERY or Fig. LONG LIFE POWER PACK; Fig.. Remove COVER from CONTROL BOX ().. Disconnect BATTERY HOLDER () from " EXTENSION CABLE ().. Remove old BATTERY from BATTERY HOLDER (). Install new BATTERY () making sure the terminal side is inserted first and shape of the battery follows the shape of the BATTERY HOLDER ().. To replace LONG LIFE POWER PACK (), unplug and replace with new Power Pack.. Reconnect BATTERY HOLDER () to " EXTENSION CABLE ().. Replace CONTROL BOX COVER. Tighten cover screws firmly. STANDARD BATTERY CR-P LONG LIFE POWER PACK E CLEAN AND REMOVE THE AERATOR; Fig.. Remove AERATOR HOUSING () with KEY supplied with faucet. Fig.. Remove AERATOR () from HOUSING ().. Clean the AERATOR SCREENS ().. Clean with water. Reassemble and install into spout end. Make sure black seal washer is in place. 8 M90 Rev.. (8/)

10 F CONVERT RIGID GOOSENECK SPOUT TO SWING SPOUT; Fig. The GOOSENECK SPOUT is shipped from the factory as a rigid assembly. To convert the GOOSENECK SPOUT into a SWING SPOUT, proceed as follows: Fig.. Remove SET SCREW () from back of GOOSENECK SPOUT () with a flat blade screwdriver. Fig... Install SWIVEL SET SCREW () on the back of GOOSENECK SPOUT (). SWIVEL SET SCREW () is found in hardware bag inside the product box. (USE SHORT SET SCREW FOR SWIVEL SPOUT) G GENERAL CLEANING; Fig.. Only use a damp, soft cloth to clean the spout and the sensor. Fig.. For tougher dirt, use a soft cloth with diluted dish washing detergent. Wipe the area using a wet cloth and dry using a soft cloth. CAUTION Do not scratch the sensor when cleaning. Avoid using any abrasives or harsh detergents or chemicals. FAQ'S Q: How will I know if the battery needs to be replaced? A: Valve will not open and sensor will continuously blink times interrupted by a pause for up to days. Q: Why has the flow rate of the faucet reduced significantly? A: The filter assembly, flow regulator or areator/spray may be clogged. Check and clean. Refer to Start-up/Mainenance, sections C, D and E. Q: Why doesn t the water flow out of faucet when I'm within the sensor detection zone? A: Battery may need replacement. Check. If sensor continuously blinks times interrupted by pause, replace battery or call (8) CRT-TEAM / (8) 8-8. Q: What is the normal operating pressure range? CHECK FOR DAMAGE TO SENSOR WIRE INSULATION. REPLACE SENSOR. YES REPLACE SOLEID LOW FLOW ISSUES ARE INTERNAL & EXTERNAL SUPPLY STOPS FULLY OPEN? FULLY OPEN INTERNAL & EXTERNAL SUPPLY STOPS BY TURNING COUNTER CLOCKWISE. YES LOW FLOW COULD BE CAUSED BY DEBRIS IN THE FILTER ASSEMBLY, FLOW REGULATOR OR AERATOR/SPRAY. REMOVE, CLEAN AND INSERT BACK TO ORIGINAL POSITION.
