5 Moving a system to the cloud can be a simple exercise of migrating it from inhouse hardware to someone else s hardware. However, when other internal systems are integrated with that system, things get complicated now new integrations must be replaced over the new transport layer. Complexity increases exponentially if the system is migrating to cloud-based software instead of simply moving to the cloud. Expensive and Slow, complex and cumbersome. Likely to have performance issues including disconnects and other issues. Requires higher maintenance and change costs. Cost conscious, faster, and simpler. Easier to identify critical components and integration points. Less expensive to maintain and make changes. MDM To make data migration easier, whether you are moving systems to the cloud or re-tooling an internal system, Apoorva builds a component of Master Data Management that is geared toward transactions rather than analytics. 7 When the Apoorva team needs to dig deep into the data and get more than Business Intelligence (BI) and Analytics, we use learning algorithms such as Naïve Bayes, Neural Networks and k-nearest Neighbor. These algorithms help predict an outcome when test data is provided. We build several models to forecast outcomes. Prior to employing learning algorithms, Apoorva uses data visualization techniques of scatter plots, attribute statistics, and mosaic displays to get a basic understanding of the underlying data. This is followed by classification tree algorithms to visually demonstrate the probabilities of each case. Using these techniques, businesses can use customer classification data to determine the probability of success for a proposed marketing program.
