2 Introduction Of Ivan Ong Hey everyone, Thank you for downloading my report. Before we move into the meat of this report, let me give you a brief introduction of myself and why I think I m qualified to be writing this report and why you should listen to me. My name is Ivan Ong and I m from your friendly neighbouring country Singapore. I have been a firm believer of not working for my entire life and wish to be rich and financially free at a young age of 18. I went on to seek for opportunities but failed many times when I was dabbling into options trading, online gambling and multi level marketing. At age 21, I embarked on my journey into the Internet Marketing world and found CPA marketing (Making Money Online Without Selling Anything). The journey and learning curve was not easy because there was not much material and resources online for me to learn and master this business. Everything had to be on a trial and error basis and I learn it the hard way. Wasting tons of time trying to figure things out. I realize that the more I fail in this business, the more I learn, the more mistakes I make, the more careful I became the next time round. Many times I thought about giving up and moving on with life, but it s the mindset and the desire that I have to succeed that pushed me through all the difficult times. Therefore, I summarize the mindset that was in me into this report and it basically breaks down into 4 main mindset needed to be successful in this CPA business. I m glad to say that I am a 6 figure income earner from my business for the past 3 years and have been able to lead a Internet lifestyle from working anywhere in this world I want to and anytime I want to. 3 Do you know what s the strongest force in my CPA business is? No, it is not money, but rather, it is my mindset towards this business. The thing is that, you need to treat this like a real business. When you treat this business like a hobby, chances are, you will only be making hobby money. 4 Mindset 1: Knowing Your Driving Force I always believe in having a clear and focus goals are what is necessary for just anyone to be successful as this can be the main driving force towards motivating me to continue to strive for what my dreams are. Well, at this point in time, it may seem very simple but when you come to think about it carefully, it is actually something very powerful. Let me give you an example... Throughout these years, I have encountered countless setbacks and I have come to the point where I felt like giving up what I was doing all these while. But the thought of working a 9-5 job when I graduate from University kept me from giving up. The reason being is because I have brainwashed myself that I would rather work for myself than for other people. To put it simply, when you work for someone, they get to choose what time you report and knock off from work. And the worst part is, you need to gain their approval whether or not you can go on a vacation and for how many days. This totally sucks and I hate it. So, this is how I identified my driving force and I urge you should identify yours too. But before we continue, please get a pen and a piece of clean paper, as you will need to write down your driving force on the piece of paper. After you have done so, please copy down the questions below and put your answers by the side. Please be very specific in your answers. 1) What I want to achieve in life? 2) Why do I want to achieve it? By answering these 2 questions, you would be able to have a clearer idea of what your driving force are and why you absolutely need to achieve them. These are what I call the driving force. Because I fully understand my driving forces, I have been able to persevere through tough times. As a result, they have always been pushing me faster and nearer towards my goals. Up till this point in time, I would like to share with you this quote that I especially like which is by Robert H. Schuller. He said that, Tough times never last, but tough people do. 5 Mindset 2: Don't Be Afraid To Think Big In the previous chapter, I mentioned to you that I would rather work for myself than to work for other people, right? So, other than knowing my driving force, I was also not afraid to think big. I began listing the goals that I want to achieve on a piece of paper. By doing this, this provides me with a clearer idea about my life and business. But sadly, at this point in time, many people will tell themselves to stop dreaming because they feel that these goals that they have listed down seem too impossible to achieve. Finally, what they will do is that they will throw that piece of paper into the dustbin and forget all about it and go to bed. Please don t fall into this trap. It s a mind game actually. You are who you think you are. Let me give you an example, if you tell yourself that you can do it, you certainly can do it because you will find 101 ways to go about the problem/obstacles that you are facing. Likewise, if you tell yourself you can t do or overcome it, you will keep finding excuses for yourself not to do certain things. Honestly speaking, I am a person who focuses a lot on the result and not the excuse and I hope you will be like me too. Stop giving excuses and start taking massive action in order to achieve success for action is so important that it will lead you to achieve all the goals you have set for yourself. Have you ever wondered why so many people go on the Internet and have yet to make any money? Well, the reason is simple, because they have spent too much of their time reading and reading but guess what, they forgot to take action to that will led them to achieve his goals. Anyway, here s what I did after listing down the goals that I want to achieve on a piece of paper. I broke my goals further into smaller goals and simpler tasks that I must do and achieve. I tell myself that if I do not these tasks that I have set for myself, I would never be able to achieve my ultimate goal. In other words, I began to stop thinking about how impossible my goals were and started to think about how I can achieve them based on the resources that I have and this is how I become who I am today. So what I am trying to tell you is that you need to have a goal, a purpose for doing this Internet business. With these goals in mind, you will then learn how to focus and stop jumping from opportunity to opportunity as I have seen many friends around me who moved on from Internet marketing to Forex and much more. Every choice you've made has led you to where you are now; every choice you make now will create your future. Your choices come from your thoughts and how you perceive your place in the world. 7 Mindset 3: Don't Let Fear Of Losing Money Overtake Your Logical Thinking Many people have asked me this question: Which type of traffic is better? Free traffic or paid traffic? Well, my answer to them was, if you are afraid to lose money, you should use free traffic generation methods such as article marketing, forum marketing or even social media marketing. However, if you are like me, who am not afraid to lose money and want fast results, you should use paid traffic generation methods such as Pay-Per-Click (PPC) or Pay-Per-View (PPV) to drive targeted traffic to your cost-per-action offers (CPA). So ultimately, it really depends on you whether it is worthwhile to spend money on advertising and nobody can decide this on your behalf. You have to decide this for yourself. Personally, I like to use paid traffic very much because I can test various campaigns at once and know very quickly which campaigns are converting and which are not. They can generate instant results for you which the free traffic generation cannot do for you. You need to build a very strong foundation if you are using free traffic generation methods and these can easily takes up to a couple of years for you to know the results. However, when I just started out this business 3 years ago, I had a really small budget. So, what I did was that, I limit a certain percentage loss. Once I hit the percentage loss that I have set, I will stop all that I am doing and start reviewing where I have gone wrong or could have done better and correct them accordingly. Let me give you an example If a particular campaign has proven to be not converting well, I will ditch it immediately without hesitating because these are the campaigns which are making me lose money and common sense tells me to delete them. Next, what I will do is that I will identify the winning campaigns and then fine-tune it further for maximum profits. This type of money management technique has allowed me to focus on how much capital I am left with and this way, I will be more careful with the budget that I have for paid traffic. After these few years of trial and error, I realized that spending money to buy paid traffic is actually similar to buying lottery because the more lottery tickets you buy, the higher chances of you hitting the jackpot. But as you practice long enough, you will get better and better at hitting the jackpot. If you are serious about making money online via CPA, I urge you to do this every day which is to create new campaigns every day and you can see your income increase slightly. But obviously this is not the end because the point is just to keep creating new campaigns. 8 As human beings, we only want to win and not lose. However, as an affiliate marketer who uses paid traffic to make money from CPA offers, you should learn to never let your emotion take over your logic. Did you know one hidden fact about successful business man? Well, they too, are afraid to lose, but what differentiates them between non-successful people is that they keep doing the things that they fear of and gradually, they become so used to it that they do not fear of it anymore. So I am trying to tell you that it s a part and parcel to lose money in the process of driving paid traffic to CPA offers, but trust me, these mistakes that you make along the way will make you grow stronger and tougher. 9 Mindset 4: The Desire To Succeed In order to succeed in this online business, you will need the desire to succeed because this will allow you to fulfil your dreams and finally, accomplish your goals. When you have this burning desire within you, you will then force yourself to take massive action and not give up until you see results. This burning desire combined with your driving force is so powerful that it will drive you to overcome all the obstacles you will face along the way and gradually lead you to achieve your objectives or goals. I strongly believe that everyone has the ability to get what they want. But sadly, most of the time, people simply lack the burning desire to succeed. Again, if you are serious about making money from this online business, you will need to have the burning desire to succeed. So how did I go about finding this burning desire in me? Well, in the past when I just started out, what I did was that I keep updating myself in the CPA industry simply by reading super affiliates blogs. From there, I get a rough idea how much they are making each month and I get so excited about being like them in the future. This keeps my motivation high and at the same time, let me know that I am not alone in this journey to make money online. Now the thing is, you need to get into an environment where everyone is motivated. Once you are in such a positive environment, you will have many positive thoughts revolving in your mind. Having positive thoughts in your mind is especially important because only then, it will continue to lead you to take massive action and finally, generate positive results for your hard work. Let me share with you a quote by Tony Robbins which I think is especially true. Here s what he said, One reason so few of us achieve what we truly want is that we never direct our focus; we never concentrate our power. Most people dabble their way through life, never deciding to master anything in particular. So, in order to succeed in making money from CPA offers, you need to take continuous massive action and start developing and focusing on your action plan. However, it is inevitable that you will face failures or challenges during this journey. One effective way I use to overcome obstacles is to replace the negative thoughts with positive thoughts and this keeps my motivation high again. You simply need to believe that making money online is possible as I have seen so many super affiliates done it. In actual fact, when you believe so strongly in something, you can conquer almost anything you want even if the obstacles are difficult to overcome. One more thing to note is that I strongly believe that if there s a way, there will be a will and nothing would be able to stop me from achieving what I want. 10 So, if you have not listed down your goals, I strongly urge you to really spend some time now to write them down on a piece of paper and start focusing on achieving them. Here s another quote by Tony Robbins which I like it a lot, he said that if you want to be successful, find someone who has achieved the results you want and copy what they do and you'll achieve the same results.
