These terms and conditions apply to all orders. The placing of any order by you, constitutes your acceptance that our conditions are the only conditions that apply to the contract notwithstanding any purported terms put forward by you. 2. The Goods are at the risk of the Buyer from the time of delivery. Ownership of the Goods will not pass to the Buyer until Oxford Limited has received in full (in cash or cleared funds) all sums due to it in respect of the Goods. 3. Unless otherwise agreed by Oxford Limited in writing, the price for the Goods will be the price set out on the Confirmation of Order. That price is subject to the addition of any value added tax, and all costs or charges in relation to loading, unloading, carriage and insurance; all of which amounts the Buyer will pay in addition when it is due to pay for the Goods. Payment is due within thirty (30) days after the date of Oxford Limited s invoice. No payment will be deemed to have been received until Oxford Limited has received cleared funds. 4. Orders are accepted subject to our right to adjust prices quoted to take account of any changes in the law or Government regulations requiring us to increase prices by way of direct taxation, import duties, customs and excise duties or otherwise. The prices are based on today s current costs of production and in the event of any increase in wages or costs of materials to us occurring after the confirmation or accepted contract, we shall be entitled to charge such increases to you. 5. If the Buyer fails to pay Oxford Limited any sum due pursuant to the contract Oxford Limited shall have the right (but not the obligation) to suspend any other deliveries due from Oxford Limited to the Buyer and/or to refuse to accept any further orders from the Buyer. 6. Oxford Limited confirms that (subject to the other provisions of these Conditions) upon delivery the Goods will be of satisfactory quality within the meaning of the Sale of Goods Act Oxford Limited will not be liable for a breach of this Condition unless: (i) the Buyer gives written notice of the defect to Oxford Limited, and (if the defect is as a result of damage in transit) to the carrier, within fourteen (14) days after delivery; and (ii) Oxford Limited is given a reasonable opportunity after receiving the notice to examine the Goods, and the Buyer (if asked to do so by Oxford Limited) returns the Goods to Oxford Limited s address as set out on the Confirmation of Order at the Buyer s cost, for the examination to take place there. 7. Oxford Limited will not be liable for a breach of Condition 6 if (i) the Buyer makes any further use of the Goods after giving notice; or (ii) the defect arises because the Buyer failed to follow Oxford Limited s instructions as to the storage, installation, commissioning, use or maintenance of the Goods or (if there are none) good trade practice or (iii) the Buyer alters or repairs the Goods without the consent of Oxford Limited. 8. Every effort will be made to deliver completely on time, but any delivery date specified is a best estimate and no liability is accepted for any loss arising from delay or error in the delivery of the goods. 9. A charge will be made on all cancelled orders if this is enforced by our supplier, together with the charge for all work carried out to the date of written cancellation. 10.Samples will be dispatched on request and will be charged for if not returned in good condition within 14 days. 11.Artwork that has been approved in writing, either electronically via or signed and faxed or posted is deemed the full and final responsibility of the client and we cannot be held responsible for any errors in artwork therein. Ordering from our new catalogue couldn t be easier: If you know what products you would like to order, simply raise a purchase order and fax it/ it through to us. Please see enclosed price list or contact us for an up to date copy. Remember that all products are exclusive of VAT and delivery. You can choose from University of Oxford logo design, individual College crests or have your own Department details on the product. Each item will describe which design options are available.
