4 CONTENT AND SIGNAL DELIVERY PLAYOUT SERVICES You can deliver your UHD signals and UHD content to us via various channels; Delivery of linear (live) signals, for example, via a 4 3G cable. Delivery of the content as files* using the Internet via Aspera. Delivery of the content as files* on hard drives. Delivery on hard drives is particularly suitable for large volumes of data when filling the content archive for the first time. FLUID HUB CMS You can, of course, also flexibly manage the UHD content you have delivered to us; Professional ingestion of the content you have delivered, including the generation of high-resolution master files and a lowresolution browsing copy. Automatic quality check with state-ofthe-art analysis tools and optional visual quality testing. Management of the content assets you have stored, enrichment with metadata and comprehensive control of your content processes. We can provide you with various playout services to ensure you achieve optimal use of your UHD content; Playout Premium From start to finish, we take care of the entire UHD channel processing procedure on your behalf, including content ingestion, quality checking, checking transmission lists and playing your content in the playout with transmission data, as well as controlled dynamic graphic insertions and broadcasting the transmission signal. We currently support the content format XAVC from Sony. SmartPlayout We provide you with a high-performance playout system which you can personally fill with content and use to update your playlists. Here too, you have the option of dynamic graphic insertions. SmartPlayout then generates the corresponding transmission signal for further distribution. Up- or down-conversion of a signal Depending on your needs, we can provide either the up-conversion of an existing HDSDI signal to UHD (4 3G) or the down-conversion of a UHD (4 3G) signal to HDSDI. *In coordinated formats for optimal quality if format conversions are necessary

6 Content Distribution Services DISTRIBUTION VIA SATELLITE DISTRIBUTION VIA INTERNET Following delivery of the transmission signal, from either the playout or directly provided by you, we can encode your content for satellite transmission using the following parameters: Video encoding UHDp50 HEVC Main 10 Resolution pixels Playout of the event information (SI) Automated signal monitoring The live signal you transmit or the linear signal transmitted from the playout can also be distributed via the Internet. In order to achieve this, we provide you with special multi-format encoding technology to make sure you reach all your end customers devices. To support this process, we offer various quality profiles so video can still be viewed by all your customers, even if there is limited bandwidth.

7 DISTRIBUTION VIA OTHER METHODS If required, we will also transmit your UHD signals to other service providers for distribution to other locations or via other networks, for example, to cable television, assuming these methods of distribution are prepared and capable of doing so.
