3 Program Information & Rankings MSU s Distinctive Teacher Certification Program: All MSU teacher preparation students must complete a 1-year teaching internship after earning a 4-year undergraduate degree. Teaching interns earn 12 graduate level credits that can, with program approval, be applied toward several master s degree programs offered by the College of Education. The Elementary and Secondary Education Programs have been ranked #1 nationally for 21 consecutive years. 3

4 Data Collection & Placement Information In Summer 2014, an electronic version of the Destination Survey was sent to 465 teacher candidates who completed the teacher certification internship. By March 2015, 388 had responded resulting in an 83% response rate. All results of this survey are based on the responses to individual questions asked. Not all respondents answered every question.
