4 4- We will make 1 courtesy call to confirm that the proof has been received either by fax or if no approval is received in 2-3 days after proof has been sent. Once a proof is confirmed received by customer they have 2 weeks to approve. If no approval is received by that time the order will have to be resubmitted. 5- Please note that if the graphics include a large area of black that we recommend that these images are engraved on a white or pearl urn with black fill (this is because anything that you see on the following pages that is black will end up being the engraving color that is chosen) 6-For Clip art not found in the following pages please contact us with a category or idea of a image you would like and we will first search our clip art library that we have (aprox 50, ,000 images) to find a suitable graphic. If none can be found then we will have to consider that the image will be a custom image and investigate further using the internet and other avenues to find a graphic. 7- If the family would like to provide their own clip art then that will also be considered a custom graphic we will try to work with any image provided to us but these images should be black & white. Not all graphics provided to us will be suitable for engraving. We will let you know if there is a problem as soon as possible. 8-Photo Engravings must be done on a white or pearl urn with black fill. For the best possible results we recommend only using a white urn with black fill. A pearl urn will not show as much detail as a white urn. 9- For photo engravings we can usually work with a photo sent via but sometimes might need the original to scan at our location. We recommend that if original photograph is requested by us that the photo be sent via registered mail between two pieces of cardboard. We will use the utmost care when handling these photographs as we understand that these photographs are priceless and cannot be replaced. If an original photo is provided then it will be returned when the urn is shipped out. MacKenzie Vault Inc. cannot be responsible for lost or misdirected mail. 10- Photographs can be color or black & white and should be clean (no scratches or other marks), head & shoulders & have plain backgrounds if possible (we will remove background if necessary).
