1 FAMILY FEUD By Terry Stanley Synopsis This is a parody of the hit TV game show Family Feud. In this special episode, it s The Morris Family (members of a local church) verses Lucifer and his Demons. This over-the-top comedy is guaranteed to generate big laughs while teaching an important message about the three major sins of the world; Lust of the Flesh, Lust of the Eye, and The Pride of Life. Scripture(s) 1 John 2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world KJV Ministry Lesson Satan has been the promoter of these three great attributes of sin since the fall of man. Today, we are still haunted by these temptations. However, if we draw our strength from Christ, we can overcome these desires. Ministry Focus: Christian Fun Genre: Comedy Cast - Host - Male - Lucifer - Male - Diva - Female - Devilla - Female - Damion - Male - The Morris Family (Note: Try to use real family members for the Morris Family. The family can be any combination, doesn t have to be husband/wife, however must be four people). Costumes Lucifer - Black suit and red shirt Diva - Attractive, party dress Devilla - Expensive clothing with lots of jewelry, furs, etc. Damion - Professional business man; rich and powerful The Morris Family - Dressed or casual clothing. Also, everyone is wearing a name tag. Props - Devil horns (for Lucifer and all Demons) - Devil pitchfork (for Lucifer only) - Game cards (for Host) - Jewelry, car keys (for Devilla) - Podium - Buzzer - Projector and Screen (to display the answers to the audience) Sound Effect - Theme music from the Family Feud TV Show Time: ~12 minutes

2 "Family Feud" 1. INT. TV STUDIO FAMILY FEUD THE SCENE OPENS IN THE TV STUDIO FOR THE LIVE TAPING OF THE HIT GAME SHOW FAMILY FEUD. ONE TALL STAND IS POSITIONED IN THE CENTER OF THE STAGE. DISPLAY SLIDE 1 - TITLE SLIDE FAMILY FEUD Sound Effect - TV Show Theme Song THE ENTERS (Waving to the audience, carrying a stack of game show cards) Welcome ladies and gentlemen to Family Feud! I m your host Stewart Harvey and we have two special families who are going to battle to win Family Feud. First, please welcome the Morris Family! THE MORRIS FAMILY ENTERS. THEY WAVE AND BLOW KISSES TO THE AUDIENCE. THEY LINE UP SIDE-BY-SIDE DIAGONALLY TO THE RIGHT OF THE. THE LEAD FAMILY MEMBER IS CLOSEST TO THE. (CONT D) And returning from yesterday s surprise win, here s the Lucifer Family! AND HIS THREE DEMONS ENTER. THEY LINE UP SIDE-BY- SIDE DIAGONALLY TO THE LEFT OF THE. IS CLOSEST TO THE. THE WALKS OVER TO THE MORRIS FAMILY. (CONT D) Hello. Please introduce your lovely family. FAMILY MEMBER 1 (Excited) Hi Stewart, we just love your show. I m [name], and I m here with [introduce each person by their real name].

We just love praising the Lord. AND THE DEMONS MURMUR AND APPEAR DISGUSTED WITH THE FAMILY. (AD-LIB) ANOTHER SO-CALLED CHRISTIAN, SO PHONEY, THAT S A WASTE OF TIME, ETC. Now, let s introduce the Lucifer Family. THE APPROACHES THE FAMILY AND INTERRUPTS THEIR MURMURING. THE DEMONS QUIET DOWN Uh excuse me. Excuse me! (CONT D) Please introduce yourself and your...uh, uh, Things. I m Lucifer and these are my Demons; Diva, Devilla, and Damion. And what do you do? Well, Let s just say, we like to visit people. FAMILY MEMBER 1 (cont'd) FAMILY MEMBER 1 (Sarcastic) Yeah, just like a thief! AND FAMILY MEMBER 1 BEGIN TO ARGUE WITH ONE ANOTHER (AD-LIB)

4 "Family Feud" 3. (Interrupts) Hold on! Hold on! This is a Game Show, not a Reality Show! Okay, let s start the show! Give me the first two contestants. AND FAMILY MEMBER 1 STEP FORWARD TO FACE ONE ANOTHER. DISPLAY SLIDE 2 - THREE BLANK ANSWER SPACES (CONT D) Alright, here are the rules. The first person to press the buzzer gets to choose to play or pass. AND FAMILY MEMBER ACKNOWLEDGE THEY UNDERSTAND. We polled 100 people and selected the top 3 answers to this question. (Reading game card) Name something people might make fun of? HITS THE BUZZER FIRST (Shouts) Your clothes! (Looks at Family Member 1) Because, I wouldn t wear that dress in Hell! (Points to the screen) Show me Clothes! DISPLAY SLIDE 3 - CLOTHES IS THE FIRST ANSWER SPACE Clothes is the number one answer. (To Lucifer) Do you want to pass or play. Oh we re going to play. I don t pass up anything.

5 "Family Feud" 4. AND FAMILY MEMBER 1 RETURN TO THEIR ORIGINAL POSITION. THE WALKS OVER TO THE FIRST DEMON. Hello Diva. So, what do you do when you visit people? DIVA Well I focus on the Lust of the Flesh. I like to tempt people to fulfill their desires; in their relationships, with food, and drinks, and addictions, and anything else that is a sin against your body. (Embarrassed) I...I...certainly know what you mean. (Recovers; Reading game card) Okay, Name something people might make fun of DIVA Well, how about, Your Hair. DEMONS AGREE, GOOD ANSWER, ETC. AD-LIB HAIR INSULTS Let s see Your Hair DISPLAY SLIDE 4 - FIRST X Sorry, that was not correct. WALKS TO THE NEXT DEMON And you are Devilla, correct? And what do you do? DEVILLA I focus on the Lust of the Eye. I help people crave for worldly possessions, regardless of the consequences.

6 "Family Feud" 5. Everyone loves to have the best in life. Like, expensive clothes, and jewelry, and cars (holds up car keys). Oh and why just settle for what you have, when you can go after what others have as well? (Reading game card) Okay, Name something people might make fun of DEVILLA I think people make fun of Your Breath. DEMONS AGREE, GOOD ANSWER, I DON T LIKE BAD BREATH PEOPLE, ETC. Okay, is it Your Breath? DISPLAY SLIDE 5 - SECOND XX Nope, wrong again. WALKS TO THE NEXT DEMON DEVILLA (cont'd) **************************************************************** - End of Preview - Will the Satan Family get the victory or will they get their third strike!?
