2 The "Joan of Art" The 340 Express Cruiser was one of Sea Ray's most popular models during the 80's. With a solid fiberglass, deep V hull, propeller tunnels and wide beam she rides well in most conditions. This boat offers a large helm and cockpit area for entertaining and the large double slider entrance doors provide nice access, natural light and airflow to the main cabin. The interior offers a nice galley to port with a settee forward of the galley, a dinette/sleeper to starboard, an enclosed head with shower aft of the dinette and a centerline double berth forward in the bow. Sea Ray 340 EC Walkthrough Access to the cockpit can be obtained via the swim platform and transom door to port or over the gunwales and down steps on either side of the cockpit. The forward deck can be reached from the cockpit via walkways on port and starboard. Once in the cockpit, a large bench seat spans across the transom and two bench seats are located at and to port of the helm. Access to the main cabin is made easy through the large, double slider access doors to port of the helm. Once inside the main cabin, the L shaped galley is to port and the wet head with large shower space is to starboard. Forward to port is a settee and to starboard is a four place dinette that converts to a double sleeper. In the bow is the master cabin with a centered double berth, hanging locker to port, storage cabinet with mirrored doors to starboard and under berth storage. The access to the engine/mechanical compartment is made easy through large hatches in the cockpit deck. Sea Ray 340 EC Accommodations This Sea Ray 340 Express Cruiser sleeps 4 comfortably. 4 Sea Ray 340 EC Main Cabin The spacious main cabin in this 34' vessel provides a nice L shaped galley to port immediately upon entering the space. The ample sized wet head is immediately to starboard. Forward of the head is the 4 place dinette/sleeper and to port forward of the galley is a curved settee. Forward in the bow is the master cabin with a centered berth. Two overhead hatches provide additional light as well as airflow throughout the main cabin. Windows on either side of the main cabin also provide additional light. Sea Ray 340 EC Galley The L shaped galley provides ample counter space for food preparation, a single basin molded sink, GE turntable microwave oven, toaster oven, coffee maker, Norcold refrigerator and U- Line ice maker. The is plenty of storage under and behind the counter. The electrical panel is located behind a smoked panel forward in the galley. The curved settee is forward of the galley and provides a comfortable place for one or two individuals to sit. A shelf behind the settee and cabinets under the settee provide additional storage. I brass Boat US clock on the wall provides time and tide information. Sea Ray 340 EC Master Cabin The master cabin on this 340 features a centered double berth with under berth storage. To port is a large hanging locker and to starboard is a mirrored, double door cabinet with makeup table or desk and a lower storage cabinet. There are two portlights on each side of the master cabin for additional light and an overhead hatch provides both light and airflow to the space. Sea Ray 340 EC Head The wet head is more spacious than most with the Vacuflush toilet aft in the space along the starboard bulkhead, a molded sink forward of the toilet with medicine cabinet and under sink storage. Upon entering the head you are in the shower area which has curtains to help control the shower spray. A large window provides additional light to the space. Sea Ray 340 EC Helm The large helm features a cluster of engine gauges across the dashboard, electronics along the top of the dashboard, a large compass centered at the helm, shifters and throttles on opposite sides, circuit breaker panels both port and starboard of the wheel and a vfh radio next to the bench seat. Cabinets under the two forward bench seats and under the transom bench seat provides a large amount of storage. Ladders on either side provide entrance and exit access to the cockpit and access to the walkways forward. Large deck hatches provide ample access to the engine and mechanical compartment. A fresh water wash down is also available in the cockpit. The molded fiberglass swim platform with teak panels is accessible via the transom door. A stainless steel swim ladder with teak rungs is located to starboard The foredeck is surrounded by stainless steel hand rails and stanchions. Two in deck hatches have custom covers and the Powerwinch anchor windlass has a custom cover as well. The teak lined bow pulpit features a stainless steel searchlight, flag pole and a 16.5 lbs Bruce anchor with 50' of rope.
