Wash with soap and water, get medical attention if irritation develops or persists. Eye exposure Irritant : immediately flush eyes with large quantities of water for at least 15 minutes, call a physician immediately. Accidental ingestion Do not induce vomiting. Administer water or milk and call a physician or local poison control center immediately. Excessive inhalation Remove to fresh air. Call a physician immediately. General comments As in all cases of potential poisoning, supportive therapy is of utmost importance.

3 5) FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES In the event of fire, carbon dioxide, dry chemical or universal-type foam extinguishers should be used. 6) ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES a) Personal precautions Isolate hazard area and deny entry to unnecessary or unprotected personnel, glove (natural rubber if possible) and safety goggle for eye protection should be worn when handling spillages. No smoking, avoid naked flames or other potential sources of ignition (eg, electrical equipment). Avoid skin contamination and inhalation of vapor, in a confined, poorly ventilated area, use of a nosh approved respirator or positive breathing apparatus is recommended. Good personal washing routines should be followed accidental releases. Ensure adequate ventilation in working areas following accidental releases. b) Environmental precautions Do not discharge directly into drains, into soil or into the aquatic environment. c) Methods for cleaning up Contain spilled liquid with sand or other absorbent and remove to an approved disposal container. Dispose of in accordance with local, state and federal regulations. 7) HANDLING AND STORAGE : It is recommended that this material be stored in cool, well-ventilated area avoiding open flames or other sources or ignition. To avoid possible ignition by static discharge all equipment, transfer lines and containers used to handle or transfer this material should be electrically grounded. Avoid contact with strong acids, alkalis and oxidizing agents. Closed containers may build up pressure at elevated temperatures.
