Now, for the first time, you can choose between Yeti, with its subtle and elegant looks, and Yeti Outdoor, which is robust, rugged and designed to excel off-road. With a choice of two wheel drive (Yeti and Yeti Outdoor) or four wheel drive systems (Yeti Outdoor) on both diesel and petrol engines, as well as flexible Varioflex rear seating, sizeable boot space and higher ride height as standard, both Yeti and Yeti Outdoor are perfect for life in towns and cities. But if driving off the beaten track appeals, at the mere push of the off-road button, Yeti Outdoor turns into a highly capable x off-road vehicle. It is adept at climbing slippery slopes, descending steep hills and maintaining control on difficult terrain using the very latest in x systems. Yeti Outdoor has all the benefits of a x vehicle combined with the practicality and drive of a family hatchback. 3 2 Design The new Yeti is for the first time available in two distinct styles. Each has its own face, designed in the spirit of ŠKODA s new design language. The new ŠKODA Yeti is the perfect combination of stylish design and outstanding practicality. The Yeti looks sporty and sleek, with its bumpers, side sills and mouldings all in body colour. In contrast, the Yeti Outdoor is visibly more rugged and ready for off-roading; its strong presence a result of its newly designed front and rear bumpers and black body-styling. The Yeti is defined by its combination of striking design and uncompromising functionality. Its bold and sophisticated new look, with sharp angles and clean lines, newly-designed headlights and the new ŠKODA logo, all hint at the Yeti s remarkable on and off-road capabilities. 5

4 Striking and dynamic Panoramic sunroof. Standard on Laurin & Klement and optional on SE and Elegance. The electricallyoperated panoramic sunroof consists of two parts: the front section tilts to provide ventilation but also slides backwards over the rear section, providing fresh air, light and a feeling of vast space. 2 EXTERIOR BI-XENON HEADLIGHTS LED TECHNOLOGY PANORAMIC SUNROOF ROOF RAILS Bi-xenon headlights with AFS. Bi-xenon headlights provide 2.5 times the illumination of standard halogen lights, and the optimal illumination is further enhanced by the adaptive front light system (AFS) which adapts the light settings based on the car s speed and the weather conditions. Standard on Elegance and Laurin & Klement. LED daytime running lights. LED technology is more efficient when it comes to energy consumption and also provides higher durability. The LED strip elegantly complements the bi-xenon headlight design. Standard on Elegance and Laurin & Klement. LED rear lights. The new rear light clusters, featuring two rear bands of light in the characteristic ŠKODA C shape, can be enhanced with LED technology. Standard on Laurin & Klement. Roof rails. Both Yeti and Yeti Outdoor come with black roof rails as standard, but these can be upgraded to silver roof rails on Yeti and part-silver roof rails on Yeti Outdoor for a more stylish look. Door mirrors. Electrically adjustable and heated door mirrors are standard and come in body colour on Yeti and in matt silver on Yeti Outdoor. Functionality is further enhanced as electrically folding door mirrors with boarding spots are standard on Elegance, and Laurin & Klement includes auto-dimming function in the driver s door mirror too. 6 7

The inside of the Yeti is just as striking as the outside, and can be further personalised with a choice of upholsteries, colours and inserts. Inside the new Yeti there s also a vast amount of space for both passengers and luggage. The Yeti has a generous 16 litres of usable boot space, which can be increased to a massive 1,760 litres when the Varioflex system is utilised and the rear seats are removed entirely. Air conditioning. Manual air conditioning comes as standard on S, but on SE is upgraded to dual-zone air conditioning with humidity sensor and control, perfect for maintaining the optimum interior temperature at all times. 3 spoke leather multi-function steering wheel. Standard across the range, the sporty 3 spoke leather multi-function steering wheel feels luxurious to the touch and also allows the driver complete control over radio and telephone functions. Simply Clever features and innovative storage solutions. As ŠKODA drivers have come to expect, Yeti is full of Simply Clever storage areas and designs to offer you solutions that fit your life. Varioflex. The Varioflex system provides Yeti with an extremely flexible and functional array of seat positions. There are over 20 different seating combinations, the main functions are as follows: Outer seats can slide forwards and backwards All seats can be folded down individually Outer seats can recline by 13.5 All seats can be rolled up (and stowed against front seats) *Standard on SE, Elegance and Laurin & Klement. Please note there are some key differences between the Yeti and Roomster Varioflex seats: the middle seat on Yeti is 35mm longer than that of Roomster, and when the centre seat is removed, the outer seats slide 80mm towards the centre on Yeti (Roomster slides 110mm) Middle seat can fold to create an additional armrest with integrated cup holder* Middle seat can be removed and outer seats slid towards centre, creating a two seater in the rear 8 9

6 TECHNOLOGY REAR-VIEW PARKING CAMERA DIRECT SHIFT GEARBOX (DSG) KESSY NAVIGATION SYSTEMS RADIO & SOUND SYSTEMS PARK ASSIST 2 Advanced infotainment Modern technologies not only make travelling more pleasant but increase the ease of handling the vehicle. The Columbus navigation system with DAB is standard on Laurin & Klement and available as an option on SE and Elegance. It features a 6.5" colour display with touchscreen, voice control function and includes a 30GB hard drive, 20GB of which can be used to store music. Up to 10 navigation routes can be stored in it s memory, and the map data contains points of interest, information about which can be displayed if selected by the driver. Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG), available in both 6-speed and 7-speed versions, guarantees smooth and rapid gear shifts resulting in maximum utilisation of the potential of the engine s torque. Park assist is standard on Laurin & Klement and optional on SE and Elegance. Parallel parking and bay parking in the Yeti is now easier than ever thanks to a the latest generation of ŠKODA s award winning Park assist. With a press of a button, the system will begin searching for a parking space in a line of cars or obstacles. When a suitable space is found (the car s length + 60 cm is all the space needed), the car will steer itself into the space whilst the driver controls the pedals. The system will now also steer the car out of a line of cars from its parking space and with two presses of the same button, the car will search for and manoeuvre into a bay parking space. The recommended gear shift function is displayed in the top right corner of Maxi DOT. In vehicles equipped with the optional KESSY (Keyless Entry, Start and exit system) the driver can lock and unlock the car as well as start and stop the engine without having to insert or even handle the car key. The Bolero radio which is standard from SE has multitude of functions, such as a reader for SD or MMC data cards, the ability to play CDs as well as files in MP3 and WMA formats and memory for radio traffic reports (TIM). For the first time a rear-view parking camera is available as an option on the new Yeti. The camera is positioned on the tailgate handle and provides a visual of what is behind the car, in order to make any parking manoeuvre effortless. The optional 12 speaker Soundsystem with a digital equaliser and 12 speakers provides excellent sound reproduction for an enhanced acoustic experience. Maxi-DOT comes as standard across the Yeti range. Maxi-DOT, with it s larger display, details fuel consumption, average speed and distance until the fuel tank is empty, and also has the ability to display phone, audio and navigation data too

7 Smart protection 2 Driver fatigue sensor, available as an option across the Yeti range, monitors the movement of the driver through the steering wheel and if it detects signs of tiredness, audibly alerts the driver and shows a break recommendation alert on the Maxi-DOT display. The two outer rear seats in all Yeti models feature ISOFIX as standard. The ISOFIX brackets create a fixed link between a child seat and the car s chassis, which is important for ensuring the seat is effectively secured in the event of a collision. ISOFIX can be specified on the front passenger seat too. SAFETY AIRBAGS DRIVER FATIGUE SENSOR TYRE PRESSURE MONITOR ESC ISOFIX HILL-HOLD CONTROL The standard tyre pressure monitoring system will highlight any loss in pressure of the tyres to the driver immediately, as a decrease in pressure could radically change the car s behaviour and drivability, potentially causing an accident. Yeti features 7 airbags as standard, located at the front, front side, curtain and driver s knee area. For additional protection rear side airbags can also be specified. Hill-hold control applies pressure on the braking system for a further 1 or 2 seconds after the driver releases the brake pedal (when the hill gradient is more than 5%). This allows the driver enough time to move away without rolling. Hill-hold control is standard on Elegance and Laurin & Klement and optional on S and SE. ESC (Electronic Stability Control) is standard and delivers a number of systems designed to help maintain the car s stability in braking and emergency situations. 8 ŠKODA GreenLine II Technology 2 ŠKODA Green Future forms an integral part of our corporate philosophy. This is reflected in our efforts to keep reducing fuel consumption and consequently CO2 emissions and no more so than as displayed by our GreenLine models. The Yeti GreenLine II has a lower chassis as well as other modifications to enhance efficiency. Powered by the 1.6 TDI CR 105PS DPF it achieves a combined consumption of 61. mpg and a CO2 emission level of 119 g/km. A GreenLine badge can be found on the front grille. Low rolling resistance tyres. Yeti GreenLine II has 16" Dolomite alloys, whilst Yeti Outdoor GreenLine II comes with 16" Nevis alloys as standard. These lighter alloy wheels with low rolling resistance tyres have a higher prescribed air pressure to reduce friction. The Start-Stop system automatically switches off the engine, for example while waiting at the traffic lights. By pressing the clutch pedal the engine automatically restarts. Energy recovery functionality, further assists this by enabling effective use of the car s kinetic energy for battery recharging. 1 15

It combines the practicality of a hatchback with fantastic visibility and amazing flexibility, making it a great family car. 2 The Yeti s higher ride height and rugged design with seven airbags as standard is ideal for the school run. There s lots of boot space too so you can load up your shopping, sports kit, gardening equipment, the dog and pushchairs! Flexible Varioflex seating ensures all passengers can get comfortable with over 20 different combinations. Seats can be moved forwards and backwards, reclined, rolled up individually or completely removed. Park assist* helps reduce the stress of parking on busy streets. Press the park assist button, take your hands off the steering wheel and whilst you control the speed, Yeti will manoeuvre itself into the parking space. With Bluetooth and multi-function steering wheel as standard, and cruise control and leather seats also available, the Yeti is a great choice as a business partner. Off-road For those needing a sturdy and versatile car that can handle outdoor living with ease, the x Yeti Outdoor is for you. With one of the latest x systems and some very clever technology, Yeti Outdoor handles most off road situations, slippery roads or rough ground. The off-road button* has a set of intelligent functions to aid driving on difficult, slippery surfaces, further increasing the safety of driver and passengers. The system is enabled when the button is pressed and illuminates. The driver does not need any previous off-road experience to feel the benefits of this easy to use system. Off-road button*. By pushing the off road button, Yeti Outdoor helps maintain control when the driving conditions get tough. It will maintain a constant speed downhill on a steep slope (over 8%), maintain traction going uphill and stop over revving of the engine, hold the car still on a hill start and help prevent the wheels from spinning on loose surfaces or wet, slippery roads. x system. The latest generation x system helps you maintain control and stability at all times. The system senses what is happening on each wheel and quickly transfers power or automatically applies brakes when needed to give more grip or drive to keep you on your chosen path. 26 Technical glossary ABS: the anti-lock braking system prevents the wheels from locking during heavy or emergency braking, enabling the vehicle to remain steerable. When braking, wheel speed sensors measure the road wheel speed and should one or more wheels start to lock the system reduces brake pressure to that wheel. Elements of the ABS System :- Dual Rate Vacuum Brake Boosters: increases brake effort under emergency braking conditions. EBC: Electronic brake control. The engine brake torque control regulates the power supply by intervening with the engine management system. EBD (aka EBV): Electronic Brake Distribution automatically distributes different pressures to the front and rear brakes to stop the rear wheels from locking up under heavy braking. It also compensates for loaded and unloaded vehicles therefore doing away with the need for a Load Sensing Valve on the rear axle. MBA Mechanical brake assist uses a mechanical device inside the brake servo. If the brake pedal is pressed rapidly, it activates the mechanical device to give maximum braking pressure to the wheels, even if the driver is not pressing the brake pedal particularly hard. Calculating your tax liability To find out how much tax you will pay, simply take the P11D value, then multiply this figure by the BiK percentage. Then simply multiply this figure by 20% or 0% depending on the level of income tax that you pay. Please note if your employer provides you with free fuel, this is treated as an additional taxable benefit. For more information on company car taxation please visit the HM revenue and customs website hmrc.gov.uk CAN Bus: the CAN Bus is an electronic data bus which links the various different electronic control systems in the car. It ensures ideal co-ordination between systems and reduces the amount of wiring needed in the car. Fuel cut-out: should one or more of the airbags inflate after an accident, this system automatically cuts out the fuel supply, thus preventing subsequent leakage of the diesel or petrol. Trip Computer: the trip computer not only features an impressive range of data displays, operating it is simplicity itself. A multifunction touch key enables you to call up all relevant data on the easy-to-read display. Features include external temperature, time, current fuel consumption, average fuel consumption, miles driven and average speed. CR: the completely new range of diesel engines are built on a system of Common-Rail fuel injection. The diesel engines have a high-pressure common rail direct injection fuel system and four-valve technology. As a result, the new engines are much quieter, more refined in their operation and consume less fuel, compared to the Pump Duse engines and significantly reduce emissions. BiK calculation example- Yeti S GreenLine II 1.6 TDI CR 105PS DPF DPF: diesel particulate filter is part of the exhaust system responsible for cleaning the engine exhaust gases before they enter the atmosphere. The DPF catches soot particles emitted in the exhaust gas and it works in conjunction with the catalytic converter, which reduces the amount of harmful gases entering the atmosphere. The DPF must periodically be emptied of the soot particles, a process known as regeneration. This involves elevated exhaust system temperatures. A driving style is required during regeneration, where a constant vehicle speed above 37 mph must be maintained. This does not always suit customers who make frequent short journeys or experience stop/start driving or drive within inner-city or urban areas. ESC: Electronic Stability Control is designed to stabilise the dynamic handling response of the vehicle by counteracting any tendency towards oversteer or understeer. The ESC constantly compares the actual movement of the vehicle with predetermined values and according to the situation ESC reacts by braking each wheel individually (according to direction of slip) and automatically adjusting the engine s output. If the engine power or torque being transmitted to the drive wheels is too great, for example on a slippery road surface, engine torque is automatically reduced until optimum road holding returns, thus preventing wheelspin. A light indicates whether the ASR system is on. It can be manually switched off. MSR: the engine torque control system recognises when the wheels are subject to too much slippage and regulates the power supply by intervening in the engine management system. This prevents wheelspin when, for example, changing down on a smooth or wet road surface. MSR is a constituent part of the ASR system. EDS: the electronic differential lock continually compares the rpm of the drive wheels, and if it identifies a difference between them which could lead to an individual wheel spinning, for example if the two wheels are on different types of surface or accelerating on wet leaves, the system brakes the wheel affected until uniform rpm of all drive wheels is restored. HBA: Hydraulic brake assistant increases the optimal build-up of brake power. It ensures complete use of the brake system potential, thus shortening the braking distance. DSR: Driver Steering Recommendation in a crisis situation it helps the driver stabilize a skid by making a slight intervention in the steering. ESBS: Electronic Stability Brake System targeted interventions in the braking process improve the handling of a car as it brakes when passing round a bend and keeps it from veering. AFM: records and assesses all available data about the journey to optimize the ESC system s reactions, which can thus be adapted to any driving style and the current vehicle payload. HHC: Hill hold control allows for a safe hill start by holding the brake for a small amount of time, reducing the risk of unintentional reversing or roll back. TPM: Draws the driver s attention to any pressure loss in any of the tyres. Early warning can prevent damage from occurring as a result of an under inflated tyre or a defect that radically changes the cars behaviour and driveability. Xenon lights: the Xenon lights produce about 2.5 times the light of standard Halogen lights with 35% less energy consumption. Extended warranty Exclusions and limitations Wear and tear components will only be considered under the terms of the warranty for the first of six months or 6,500 miles, whichever is soonest. These include, but are not limited to brake linings and disc pads, clutch release bearings, clutch pressure plates and centre plates, tyres, wiper blades, seat and backrest covers, floor coverings, spark plugs, batteries for key fobs and alarms, light bulbs and shock absorbers. Mechanical adjustments including but not limited to adjustments to doors, flaps, boot lids, bonnets and sunroof, brake adjustment, clutch adjustment, v belt adjustment, ignition adjustment, headlight adjustment, steering geometry adjustments and wheel balancing are excluded. Damage (including but not limited to the following) is excluded: > Damage caused by your failure to take all reasonable steps to prevent mechanical damage from occurring. > Damage or defects caused by not having the vehicle serviced in accordance with the manufacturer s guidelines. > Damage or defects caused by improper use of the vehicle, neglect or use of the vehicle for motor sports activities. > Damage caused by an accident. > Damage to paintwork or chrome caused by external influences, such as climatic, chemical or industrial pollution. > Damage resulting from the use of non-original replacement parts. Routine maintenance and servicing is not covered by the warranty. Incidental or consequential costs such as hotel charges, car hire, loss of personal effects or income are not recoverable under the terms of the warranty. Service Intervals When you order your Yeti, you can choose whether your car is on a fixed or a flexible service regime. Your retailer will help you decide which regime suits how your car will be driven, enabling your car to stay in the best possible shape. Fixed regime: Service every 10,000 miles or one year (whichever comes first). This is recommended if the vehicle is likely to be used in the following way: > Driven fewer than 10,000 miles per annum and/or > Mainly short journeys, drive mostly in towns or cities and/or > High vehicle loading/towing and frequent hill climbs and/or > Heavy accelerating and braking, using high revs Flexible regime: Sensors in the engine detect when a service is needed. You will be informed of this by a service light which will show at any point between 9,000 and 20,000 miles, up to 2 months (whichever comes first). The flexible service regime is recommended for vehicles with a daily mileage of more than 25 miles where the vehicle is driven regularly and mainly at a constant speed with minimum vehicle and engine loading, minimal towing and driven in an economical manner Motability People in receipt of the Higher Mobility Component of the Disability Living Allowance receive special help from ŠKODA.
