1 Citibank Car Financing APPLICATION INFORMATION Dear Customer, This section is designed to provide you with the relevant information about the Citibank Car Financing Program and to enable you to understand the process and applicable charges. 1. Citibank's role in the transaction is limited to providing financing for purchase of the vehicle only. 2. You shall be responsible for selecting the vehicle to be financed. 3. You will be responsible for the condition of the vehicle and accessories being financed. Citibank will not be responsible for any defects detected in the vehicle after you have accepted delivery and have signed the Delivery Acceptance Form. 4. Citibank will only finance a specified portion of the vehicle's price. Registration Costs, Capital Value Tax and any other related expenses are entirely your responsibility. 5. You will bear all external agency fees. 6. You will put in all your contribution (equity) before approval of financing. 7. You will not, fully or partially, prepay the Balance Sale Price (as defined in the Mark-up Agreement), without the prior written consent of Citibank. In case Citibank permits you to prepay any remaining portion of the Balance Sale Price, Citibank shall have the right and power to impose a charge on you in return for giving such consent, as it may in its sole discretion determine. 8. Citibank reserves the right to increase the mark-up rate at any time during the tenure of financing. 9. Bank Processing Charges, and Car Appraisal Charges are non-refundable. 10. Please do not pay cash to any sales representative for any charges or services. All payments must be made via crossed cheques to Citibank N.A. 11. Citibank reserves the right to reject any financing application without assigning any reason. 12. In case your Total Cash Outlay (TCO) cheque bounces, Citibank reserves the right to reject your loan application. 13. Citibank will not pay any mark-up on your equity amount. 14. For processing cases, you will be required to pay the following upfront: a) Application Processing & Documentation Fee b) First Total Monthly Payment (TMP) c) Equity, if applicable. The processing of your loan application will start when all the relevant documents are provided along with the cheque for TCO (Total Cash Outlay) to Citibank. 15. To deduct thereafter every month regularly one TMP as set out in my/our Car Financing Agreement from my/our Car Financing Account and pay the same to you. This deduction shall take priority over any other deduction(s). iii. On my/our death to deduct any amount due from me/us under the Car Financing Agreement, from any of my/our accounts held by you and pay the same to you unless the entire amount payable by me/us under the Car Financing Agreement has been liquidated. iv To deduct every month any increased amount that you may determine in your absolute discretion in connection with the Car Financing Agreement. Irrevocable Standing Instructions In the event that you accept my/our application to open an Account in my/our names (the Car Financing Account) for the purpose of repaying a Car Financing Agreement which I/We have entered into with you (the Car Financing Agreement) I/We hereby instruct you to comply with the following Irrevocable Standing Instructions which shall not be revoked by any subsequent instructions unless either you consent to carry out such subsequent instructions or the entire amount of my/our Car Financing has been repaid to you in full. I/We hereby undertake to issue additional Cheques to cover payments of any increased amount that you may determine in your absolute discretion in connection with the Car Financing Agreement. I / We also understand that Application Processing Charges are non-refundable and all other charges relate to payment to external agencies for services rendered. In case the external agencies have initiated the assignment, related charges will not be refundable, even if my / our application is rejected at any stage.
