Use the on-clip volume controls to even out the amplitude of different parts of a dialogue track where the recording volume varies. And if you are in a hurry, use the oneclick Vocal Enhancer to make your voiceover track really stand out. You can stack up to 5 effects at a time in the Effects Rack to quickly alter the sound of audio, dialogue, or Soundbooth Scores. Visual tools for healing sounds The spectral analysis and on-clip editing tools in Adobe Soundbooth help you identify and remove noise and sound artifacts in your audio assets visually. Easily find and fix individual sounds or noise within an audio file using the Marquee Tool or the Lasso Tool, which are similar to those found in Adobe Photoshop software. For example, you might have a great audio recording or song, but it has a cough or noise that doesn t belong in the track. With the Auto Heal function, you can look at the noise in Spectral View, select it, and cleanly remove it while leaving the remaining audio intact. Isolate and then remove unwanted noises from your audio assets in Spectral View with visual tools like Auto Heal, which works like the Lasso tool in Photoshop. The gray blobs in the two channels shown above represent a noise that has been selected and isolated using the Lasso Tool. Integration with Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 Editing audio for a creative production in Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 is made even easier with Soundbooth. You don t even have to leave your visual project to start editing the project s audio you can launch Soundbooth directly from inside of Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 and immediately edit the audio of your selected clip. Just Control-click or right-click on an audio file in the Adobe Premiere Pro timeline and then choose Edit in Soundbooth from the context menu. Fix noise, optimize levels, or otherwise fix and heal your audio assets. Edited assets will update automatically in your Adobe Premiere Pro project after the modified assets are saved in Soundbooth. With Adobe Soundbooth, the audio workflow for your Adobe Premiere Pro projects integrates smoothly with the visual workflow in your production. Animation cues for Flash The Markers panel in Adobe Soundbooth CS3 makes it easy to insert markers called animation cues while playing, recording, or editing audio. Use these markers to navigate your audio and keep track of details for more easily coordinating audio in your projects. Display, add, delete, or change name and value pairs, as well as other details, at any time as you modify and update your projects. Then export animation cues in FLV or XML files to drive animations in other projects. For example, use animation cues to trigger scripted events in Adobe Flash projects.
