Samples can be placed on the inspection area without usage of any special fixtures. The sliding door with an automatic option allows comfortable loading of single devices and trays. X-ray can only be activated when the sliding door has been closed. Immediate visual feedback is given on the flat screen display through the use of the real-time imaging chain. Manual inspection workflow For manual inspection, the system can be fully controlled via the software interface; the joystick operator console is optional: Click & Center - global X/Y sample manipulation upon mouse click in overview image that is available immediately after sample loading Click & Center fine X/Y sample manipulation upon mouse click in X-ray image Steer & Fly continuous X/Y sample manipulation with direction and throttle control by mouse positioning Frame & Zoom zoom and manipulate sample to inspect the region marked by mouse operation Tilt and rotate are controlled by a single mouse click on the manipulation globe or through the usage of software joysticks in the manipulation panel A rich library of software operators allows image manipulation and analysis supported by convenient wizard functions.
