THE DECISION TO QUIT Congratulations on making the decision to quit smoking! This is a very important decision for your health and you ve made the right choice by selecting TBX-FREE to be the smoking cessation medication that will help you quit for good. Quitting will be the result of how determined you are to quit, your adherence to TBX-FREE, and the intensity of your addiction to tobacco.

QUITTING IS DIFFICULT! Quitting is very hard. It is important to remember not to let past failure discourage you from making another attempt at quitting. Quitting usually takes more than one attempt before achieving success. Fortunately, this User s Guide is filled with helpful information that will make the journey to quitting your smoking addiction easier. Answers to common questions about TBX-FREE can be found within these pages so please keep this User s Guide and refer to it often. OUTSIDE HELP Participating in a support program can increase the likelihood of you finally quitting smoking for good. Check for local support groups and local chapters of the American Lung Association, American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, and other local independent groups or organizations in your area. Should you start smoking again after taking TBX- FREE, it is important to remember that quitting may

require multiple attempts. Speaking with a medical professional, as well as a psychologist or therapist, may help you quit smoking. If you relapse and once again begin smoking, simply restart taking TBX- FREE. You will succeed in quitting eventually. REASONS TO QUIT Your personal reasons for quitting may be numerous or even change as you continue your journey to becoming free of your cigarette addiction. Some people quit for health concerns, others quit because of the way smoking changes their appearance and others quit because of pressure from family and friends. The danger of secondhand smoke is also a common reason to quit smoking. It is important to constantly remind yourself of your own personal reasons for quitting smoking. These reasons can motivate you to avoid relapsing and start smoking again.

THE CHALLENGE OF QUITTING In order to understand the challenge of quitting, it is important to know that smoking is addictive at both the physical and mental level. By overcoming both the physical and mental addiction, you will be able to completely end your addiction to smoking. TBX-FREE helps you overcome your physical and mental addiction by making smoking less pleasurable and giving you the feeling of nicotine ingestion without any of the harmful side effects. IMPORTANT WARNINGS CONCERNING TBX-FREE TBX-FREE is only intended for those who want to stop smoking. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should speak with their doctor before taking TBX-FREE. This medicine is believed to be safer than smoking and smoking cessation products that contain nicotine. Do not give TBX-FREE to children. Ask a doctor before using TBX-FREE if you have:

A medically restricted diet. Heart disease, have suffered a recent heart attack, or have an irregular heartbeat. High blood pressure not controlled with medication. Stomach ulcers. Diabetes. Allergies to medication or allergies to ingredients in TBX-FREE. Ask your doctor before using TBX-FREE if you are: Currently using a smoking cessation product such as nicotine gum or nicotine patches. Taking a prescription medicine for depression or asthma. Stop use and speak to your doctor if any of the following occur: Mouth, teeth, or jaw problems. Irregular heartbeat or palpitations. You develop symptoms of an allergic reaction (such as difficulty breathing or rashes).

Keep out of reach of children and pets. TBX-FREE may make children and pets sick. Do not let children or pets consume TBX-FREE. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact your local Poison Control Center right away. GETTING STARTED Start quitting today! Smokers who smoke their cigarette in the first 30 minutes after waking up should benefit from taking a strip of TBX-FREE in the morning in place of their usual cigarette. STEP 1: Week 1 Select the day you will begin your journey to quit smoking. On this day, you will begin using TBX-FREE to satisfy your cravings for cigarettes and to make smoking less enjoyable. In this first week, start to use TBX-FREE once daily to reduce the pleasure you receive from smoking plus one additional strip as cravings strike.

STEP 2: Week 2 Once you have completed one week of TBX-FREE, congratulate yourself for successfully battling your smoking addiction for one week. STEP 3: Week 3 It s been two weeks since you started using TBX- FREE and ending your cigarette addiction. You should feel that your cravings for cigarettes happen less frequently. Remember to always have TBX-FREE nearby in case a strong craving strikes. STEP 4: Week 4 By the beginning of the fourth week you have completed three full weeks of using TBX-FREE instead of cigarettes. You have successfully completed one full month of TBX-FREE! Should you feel a craving to smoke, you may take one strip of TBX-FREE in your next pack that should be on its way in the mail! Always keep TBX-FREE nearby for when cravings strike.

PREPARING FOR THE FUTURE Smoking is a serious addiction that is difficult to overcome. Even once you have gone weeks without a cigarette, you may still feel the urge to light a cigarette and smoke. It s important to plan ahead now for these times. With proper preparation, you will be ready to handle cravings when they eventually return. Here are some tips that may help you: Always take your daily strip of TBX-FREE and an additional strip when smoking cravings strike. Your monthly order should arrive on a regular basis, so simply remember to carry a pack of TBX-FREE with you at all times and in your home. Call supportive friends and family members who can offer you encouragement. Maintain a record of your quitting process. Whether it is a journal, pictures, or even video recordings, these can remind you of how much progress you ve made on your journey to quit smoking.

If you do end up smoking a cigarette, immediately stop smoking and resume your journey to quit smoking by taking one strip of TBX-FREE when cravings strike. Rewarding yourself with your favorite magazine, a gift certificate, or a trip to your favorite store might be the right method for some people to successfully quit smoking cigarettes. Plan ahead for cravings so you are prepared when they strike. For example, you can change where you take your coffee break, where you walk if you walk near stores selling cigarettes, and other small but important changes that can help you quit smoking for good. HOW TBX-FREE WORKS TBX-FREE uses cytisine to help you quit smoking by reducing nicotine withdrawal symptoms and making smoking less pleasurable.

Because TBX-FREE does not contain the tar, carbon monoxide, or nicotine of cigarette smoke it does not have the same health dangers as tobacco products or nicotine products. Instead, TBX-FREE gives users the familiar sensation of smoking without any of the harmful side effects of actually smoking. HOW TO USE TBX-FREE If you are under 18 years of age, ask a doctor before using TBX-FREE. TBX-FREE is not an ordinary breath strip. It s a medicine that must be completely absorbed in the mouth. Each strip dissolves in seconds upon contact with the tongue. There is no need to chew or swallow TBX-FREE oral strips. Certain food and drinks, such as gum and wine, may limit the effectiveness of TBX-FREE or the ability of each TBX-FREE oral strip to dissolve quickly. Avoid eating and drinking when taking TBX-FREE.

Remember to begin using TBX-FREE on the first day of your journey to quitting smoking. Allow each TBX-FREE oral strip to fully dissolve in your mouth. To improve your chances of quitting on difficult days, use at least two strips of TBX- FREE a day. If you experience strong or frequent cravings, you may use additional strips of TXB-FREE. Surviving the First Week 1. Control your physical cravings for nicotine. You can greatly increase your chances for success by using at least two pieces every day when you start using TBX-FREE. 2. Remove all reminders of smoking. Remove any ashtrays, lighters, matches, cigarettes, and cigarette holders.

3. Stay Active. Keep busy to take your mind off cigarettes and smoking. 4. Stay positive! The first week of quitting is always the toughest. Remind yourself that quitting gets easier the longer you go without smoking. It may help to focus on how much money you will save by not buying cigarettes. Think of how healthy you will be once you stop smoking! Imagine the years of health you will be adding to your life by quitting smoking!

HOW TO GRADUALLY REDUCE YOUR TBX-FREE USAGE The goal of using TBX-FREE is to slowly reduce your dependence on nicotine and your addiction to cigarettes. Using TBX-FREE will help you gradually reduce your nicotine cravings. Here are some tips to help you quit smoking cigarettes: Take one strip of TBX-FREE as needed when cravings strike. Substitute ordinary chewing gum for some of the TBX-FREE strips you would normally use. Always have a pack of TBX-FREE conveniently stored in your pocket, wallet, purse, bag, or in your home. TIPS ON HOW TO EASILY QUIT SMOKING Expect the temptation to smoke to be very strong in the first few weeks after you give up smoking. Gain the support of friends, family, and coworkers to help you in your journey to quit smoking.

Get rid of all cigarettes, matches, lighters, ashtrays, and other smoking-related items. Keep busy with exercise, watching movies, and spending time with loved ones. This will allow you to keep your mind off of quitting and let time pass by. Calculate the amount of money you are actually saving. You can calculate by the day, week, month, or even year. Some smokers can expect to find out that they are actually saving thousands of dollars per year. Once you ve calculated the amount of money you re saving, decide what you will be doing with that saved money. Some people wish to reward themselves with a vacation, others buy something important or valuable to them, and some even invest their saved money.

Identify the social situations where you may be tempted to smoke and plan ahead on how to deal with them to reduce the chance of relapsing into smoking. Keep a pack of TBX-FREE near your bed in order to handle any nicotine cravings that may strike in the morning or evening. Have a dentist remove any tobacco or smoke stains from your teeth in order to remove the physical signs of smoking. Right after Quitting: Even once you quit smoking and stopped having cravings for cigarettes, be sure to have TBX-FREE nearby in case a sudden craving tempts you to smoke. Spend as much time as possible at places where smoking isn t allowed. This will reduce the chances of you smoking again.

Drink a large amount of water and fruit juice to avoid becoming dehydrated. Try to avoid drinking alcohol, which may impair your judgment. Avoid coffee or beverages that you usually drink while smoking. Remember that the urge to smoke will always pass, even if you don t satisfy the urge by smoking a cigarette. If you want to increase the likelihood that you won t reach for a cigarette, then keep your hands busy with pencils, paper clips, or using your phone. Look for ways to relax and get your mind off of smoking cigarettes by exercising and playing games or sports. Weight gain may result from quitting smoking cigarettes. It is important to remember that weight gain is preferable to the smokingrelated diseases that result from cigarette use. Changing your diet and increasing your exercise can result in weight loss.

WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER QUITTING It is normal to feel edgy and nervous in the first few days after you quit smoking. Some people report having trouble concentrating also. Headaches, dizziness, sweating, and stomach pain can also be normal. Difficulty sleeping is also common. These withdrawal symptoms usually go away in time. Some people develop a Smoker s Cough that tends to get worse before it gets better. Coughing tends to remove tar deposits from inside of the lungs that have accumulated over years or decades of smoking. After A Week Or Two A week or two after quitting, you should be confident in your ability to handle any smoking cravings with the help of TBX-FREE. Most withdrawal symptoms should be gone and you should be noticing more positive signs such as improved breathing, and a better

sense of taste and smell. You should also be coughing less. After A Month The urge to smoke should appear much less often. Although urges may occur, they are likely to be sudden and very powerful. It is important to plan ahead for these incidents by having TBX-FREE on hand and also food to chew on instead of cigarettes. Some smokers find success by focusing on how non-smokers are ultimately more attractive than smokers. Non-smokers tend to have fewer wrinkles and cleaner teeth along with fresher breath. The hair and clothes of nonsmokers also tends to smell better. Also, as a non-smoker you will not be exposing others to the dangers of secondhand smoke.

What To Do If You Relapse and Smoke If you start smoking again, then be sure to take TBX-FREE again in order to help reduce cravings. Also, throw away any cigarettes you may have purchased. If you find yourself smoking on a regular basis, do not become discouraged with yourself. Instead, try quitting again with TBX-FREE. Identify possible triggers for smoking. Some of these may be the people you socialize with or a store you pass near on a daily basis that happens to sell cigarettes. Remain positive and optimistic about your ability to ultimately quit smoking for good. Remember that practice makes perfect and it may take more than one attempt to finally quit smoking for good. FINALLY QUITTING FOR GOOD Once you finally stop smoking, pat yourself on the back. You have succeeded and achieved

victory against a very powerful addiction. You ll no longer spend hundreds or thousands of dollars on cigarettes. With your addiction to smoking now ended, you can finally enjoy life with improved health and less risk of smokingrelated illnesses. Although the urge to smoke may return, you can be confident in the knowledge that you have gone months, if not years, without smoking a cigarette. Remember to take TBX-FREE daily in order to manage any cravings and make sure you don t start smoking cigarettes again. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS 1. What will I feel once I finally stop smoking and begin to use TBX-FREE? Smokers frequently experience nicotine withdrawal symptoms once they stop smoking. The onset of these symptoms is almost immediate and tends to be severe in the first few days after ceasing cigarette use. Fortunately, TBX-FREE mimics the sensation of

smoking without any of the negative or harmful side effects. Additionally, TBX-FREE will make smoking less pleasurable in the event that you decide to light up a cigarette. This reinforces the quitting process and makes quitting easier. Smokers can expect to feel any of the following withdrawal symptoms: Moderate to intense cravings for cigarettes. Feelings of anxiety, irritability, restlessness, mood swings, and nervousness. Drowsiness and lethargy. Difficulty concentrating. An increase in appetite and weight gain. Headaches, muscular pain, and constipation. 2. Is TBX-FREE replacing cigarettes with another form of nicotine? No. TBX-FREE does not contain nicotine. It uses cytisine to mimic the sensation of smoking a cigarette with none of the negative side-effects while also making smoking feel less enjoyable.

3. Can I become ill from using TBX-FREE? TBX-FREE is FDA registered and manufactured under Certified Good Manufacturing Practices. Speak with your doctor if you believe that you may be allergic to any of the ingredients in TBX-FREE. 4. Will TBX-FREE cause me to gain weight? Some smokers who quit their addiction to smoking may end up gaining weight. Overall, this is a very small price to pay for the enormous improvement in health that smokers receive once they quit. Should you continue to gain weight months after quitting smoking, evaluate your food intake and make dietary changes. You may also choose to exercise more. 5. Does TBX-FREE cost more than smoking? TBX-FREE is less expensive than constantly buying packs of cigarettes in addition to the costly medical expenses that result from smoking-related diseases. The use of TBX-FREE is only a short-term cost, while

the cost of smoking is a long-term cost because of the health problems that smoking causes. 6. What if I end up smoking again and fail to quit? It s important to forgive yourself for your mistake if you end up smoking again. Addiction is a difficult challenge and it may take multiple attempts at quitting until you finally succeed. People who already tried to quit but failed are actually more likely to succeed the next time they try to quit. Since TBX-FREE reduces the pleasure smokers feel from cigarettes, quitting becomes easier the longer you have been taking TBX-FREE. In order to stay off cigarettes and to manage your addiction to smoking, continue taking TBX-FREE daily.
