1 Nasirat ul Ahmadiyya UK Ijtema Syllabus 2016 All Nasirat should attend local, regional and national Ijtema wearing the correct uniform which is white modest clothing (shalwar kameez, trousers and long shirt, long skirt etc.) and a head scarf in the colour allocated to your region. At national level, marks are deducted for incorrect uniform by the participants, and this can also be done at local and regional levels, but must be announced prior to the event. TILAWAT-E-QUR AN Tilawat-e-Qura n does NOT need to be memorised. Chapter 2 : Verse [2:285] To Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth; and whether you disclose what is in your minds or keep it hidden, Allah will call you to account for it; then will He forgive whomsoever He pleases and punish whomsoever He pleases; and Allah has the power to do all that He wills. [2:286] This Messenger of Ours believes in that which has been revealed to him from his Lord, and so do the believers: all of them believe in Allah, and in His angels, and in His Books, and in His Messengers, saying, We make no distinction between any of His Messengers; and they say, We hear, and we obey. We implore Thy forgiveness, O our Lord, and to Thee is the returning. [2:287] Allah burdens not any soul beyond its capacity. It shall have the reward it earns, and it shall get the punishment it incurs. Our Lord, do not punish us, if we forget or fall into error; and our Lord, lay not on us a responsibility as Thou didst lay upon those before us. Our Lord, burden us not with what we have not the strength to bear; and efface our sins, and grant us forgiveness and have mercy on us; Thou art our Master; so help us Thou against the disbelieving people. 3 HIFZ E-QUR AN Masha Allah, due to the growing number of our Nasirat, Hifz-e-Qur an must now be tested at local level and prizes given out at regional level. The Judges for this competition must be approved by the local Sadr, and should be chosen on her correct recitation of the Holy Qur an, and she must neither be too strict, nor too lenient. If more than one judge is required, then they should all work on the same set criteria so that all Nasirat are judged fairly. 6 NAZM TRANSLATIONS Qaseeda Verses 4,5 &6 A (group of) people (was fortunate that they) saw you, while others simply heard about you: The (enchantingly beautiful) Full Moon which has cast a spell over me. Inspired by (your) love (O Holy Prophet), people tearfully recall your beauty, and their aching hearts are afire, due to being distant from you I see that (their) hearts (are beating) in (such) anxiety (as if they) have reached their throats, and I see that (their grieving) eyes shed tears. Durre-Sameen The goblet of Ahmad revives the spirit of life. How beautiful is this name Ahmad. There are thousands of prophets, however, by God; the highest of them all is the station of Ahmad. We have tasted the fruit from the orchard of Ahmad; our nourishment is the Word of Ahmad. Kalam-e-Mehmood Day and night I proclaim only this: That this entire universe has only One God He is the One who has created this universe; the stars, the sun and the sky He is One and has no partner. He is the Master of all, He is the King over all Qaseeda Verses 45, 46 & 47 No doubt, it is Muhammad sa who is the best of all creation; he is the essence(and vital force) of the elect of God. All (noble) qualities (pertaining to) every kind of superiority, have reached perfection in him; and (also) the (spiritual) bounties for all times have reached their climax in him (and Allah will now grant these only to those who truly follow Him). By God! (the Holy Prophet) Muhammad sa is certainly like the Prime Minister (in his spiritual relation to Almighty God) and it is through him (alone) that there can be access (for anyone) to the threshold of the King (Almighty God). Durre-Sameen He is always observing you; why then do you set your heart upon others? What does He not possess of the things you seek in the idols? Reflecting upon the sun, we did not find that light. When we turned to the moon, even that was not like the Beloved. He is One, has no partner and is Immortal. All others are prey to death; He is Eternal. Kalam-e-Mehmood Never shall I approve of those I love to remain content with the small things in life with their sights always aiming low. Those who snarl growl like beasts at petty little things, foaming and frothing at the mouth at the slightest provocation. Qaseeda Verses 68,69 &70 O my beloved! Your love has certainly penetrated, my soul, my mind, and my heart. O my Garden of Spiritual Delights! (I am ever so absorbed in your fond thoughts and) from the remembrance of your (blessed) face, I am not free, even for a moment or split-second. My body is craving to fly towards you due to (my) enormous longing for you (O Holy Prophet)! I wish I (actually) had the (capacity and) power to fly! Durre-Sameen Gratitude to the Lofty and Gloried Lord is beyond Expression. The One by Whose Word we were blessed with the sign of His Existence. Lo! The Lord has bowed the heads of an entire world of people! He found me unknown and lifted me to world fame. Whatever I desired, He showed me all of that. A pauper I was, He granted me limitless treasure. Kalam-e-Tahir The holy master of the children of Adam - Peace and blessings of Allah be upon him! The supreme and most revered among all the prophets of God - Peace and blessings of Allah be upon him! Muhammad was his name; Glorified his deeds - Peace and blessings of Allah be upon him! A guide par excellence, a leader among the leaders - Peace and blessings of Allah be upon him! The dazzling radiance of his splendour shamed the illustrious to flight! The sun and the moon were put out before him and ceased to shine - Peace and blessings of Allah be upon him!
