The wetter the better. 2. Pour out small quantities sufficient to work with in a few minutes. Use 1 bag at a time. Spread across the surface with a broom, allowing it to fall into the joints. 3. After applying 1 or 2 bags, use a spray of water to wash the compound into the joints. Don t worry about using too much water, you can t! 4. Allow excess water to drain away. Top up any sagging joints and repeat the spraying process as in Step 3 above. 5. Repeat Steps 1, 2, 3 & 4 until all joints are uniformly filled to about 1-2mm below the surface of the paving. Clear any residue as you go by washing with plenty of water. Never allow the surface to dry out with the compound on the surface. 6. Once the surface is patchy dry, you can point to achieve a smoother finish. Do not do this when the joint is soaking wet. 7.
