Globally, Nuplex specialises in the development and manufacture of innovative resins used in surface coatings. A proven range of products For the market of industrial wood finishes, Nuplex offers resins for primers, sealers and topcoats, based on waterborne and solventborne technologies. Waterborne resins for furniture, joinery and parquet Nuplex offers a full product line within the Setaqua brand including acrylic, UV curing, alkyd and dispersing resins. Our one-component self-crosslinking acrylic dispersions allow the formulator to easily design coatings with excellent chemical resistance, high gloss and good block resistance. Our novel UV-assisted selfcross linking technology offers a unique solution for fast wood coating lines. When two-component performance is required, our acrylic polyols feature excellent mixing capabilities with isocyanates, high gloss, low foaming tendency and outstanding durability. Our range of urethane modified alkyd emulsions provide the genuine attractive properties of alkyds in an environmentally friendly form. The main advantage of alkyd emulsions is their ability to penetrate into the wood pores, resulting in improved protection of the wood. When formulated into a sealer or a primer, bleeding of tannins is effectively reduced. Additionally, dispersing resins are available which combine efficient pigment dispersing with improved chemical and water resistance. Solventborne resins for furniture and parquet Nuplex has a thorough understanding of solventborne resins systems, satisfying a wide range of requirements.
