1 Course 2 Summer Packet For students entering 8th grade in the fall The summer packet is comprised of important topics upcoming eighth graders should know upon entering math in the fall. Please use your notes from the 7 th grade year, and the textbook site (phschool.com) as needed to refresh your memory. Please work on the packet in small chunks throughout the summer, NOT IN ONE SITTING. Working in this way will best help you reinforce and retain the information that you learned this year. The packet will be graded for completion and counted as two homework grades. In order to receive full credit, all work must be neatly shown in the space provided on the packet sheets as close to the question as possible. Circle your answers. If more space is needed, extra paper is allowed. However, all work must be neat and numbered. Calculators are not permitted. After a review of the packet, there will be a test on these topics during the first week of school in the fall. Have a safe and wonderful summer!
