9 WELCOME TO DUL FLOW SYSTEM THE GE OF HIGH DEFINITION Perfect cooking is easy to achieve, thanks to the constant circulation of heat ensured by the sophisticated electronic device which manages the cooking cycles. High Definition Cooking means completely uniform results on every cooking level. With the Dual Flow System, patented by Indesit co., the fan located inside the cavity creates two separate air flows to ensure even cooking. The exclusive Dual Flow System is a device which uses the dual channelling of the air from the chimney and the ventilation fan to ensure uniform warm air circulation and keep the temperature of the oven door lower than traditional ovens, for increased safety, particularly in the presence of children. Cold air collected from around the oven and drawn in by the fan is divided into two flows. The first extracts warm air from the chimney and pushes it out of the oven. Sensitive to changing trends in contemporary design, riston has resized its ovens, further enhancing both their appearance and functionality. riston has managed to reduce the gap between its oven doors and its oven frames to just mm, reducing the annoying flow of warm air out of the oven. This innovation has also meant that we have been able to review the dimensions of our oven doors. The new ovens have doors which are 8.5 mm high, compared to the 60 mm doors of the ovens in the previous range, an increase which has been achieved by reducing the control panel by almost cm. The larger door and the reduction of the steel frame mean that cooking progress can be easily monitored on all shelves in the oven, including the top shelf, which is often difficult to see. 31 INDUCTION HOBS Induction cooking ensures quick and uniform results, easy cleaning and complete safety. This state-of-theart technology is based on the generation of a magnetic field between the cooking surface and the metal base of the pan, which produces energy which is immediately transformed into a homogenous heat source distributed only inside the cooking vessel. This specific feature prevents the dispersion of heat, thus reducing cooking times. Recognisable by their modern and elegant design, induction hobs blend perfectly with your kitchen tops and are easy to clean, thanks to their smooth, cool, glass-ceramic surfaces. TOUCH CONTROL The front position of the Touch Control panel makes using your riston hob even easier. Using the Touch Control panel, you can adjust the heat of each cooking zone precisely and independently, selecting your temperatures and functions with a simple touch. BOOSTER Using the Booster function, you can reach higher temperatures in just a few moments and complete your cooking even more quickly. When the Booster function is activated, the heat from the plate is increased to a maximum for minutes, meaning quicker cooking which remains just as tasty and accurate. SFETY riston s induction and glass-ceramic hobs are equipped with safety devices which make them easy and safe to use. PN DETECTION The plate only activates when in contact with the pan, while the rest of the surface remains cold. SELECTIVE DETECTION Thanks to the selective detection feature, the plate is only activated upon contact with specially adapted pans. If a small metal object such as a spoon comes accidentally into contact with the plate, the selective detection is not activated. n acoustic warning will sound in the case of any anomalies. TIME LIMITER If the plate is mistakenly left on, a device will switch it off automatically. CHILD SFETY To avoid the programmed Touch Control commands being accidentally changed, or to stop children from activating them, all riston induction and glass-ceramic hobs are equipped with a safety lock. HOBS RESIDUL HET INDICTORS riston's glass-ceramic hobs are equipped with special warning lights which indicate if a zone is still warm once the hob has been switched off. The indicators switch off automatically when the temperature falls below 60. BOIL OVER CUT-OUT ESY-CLENING Induction hobs are completely smooth and always cold, making them very easy to clean. ccidental spills won t solidify, all it takes is a damp cloth to remove any food residue, and this can even be done immediately, with no risk of burns. On glass-ceramic hobs, the boil over cut-out device automatically switches off the hob when a liquid accidentally boils over from a pan and reaches the controls. s well as switching off the hob, the device also sounds an acoustic warning. If a metal object accidentally comes into contact with the hob in error, the safety device issues an acoustic warning and automatically switches off the hob. 46 DUCTED OR RECIRCULTION HOODS There are two different types of cooker hoods: the ducted hood for external evacuation and the recirculation hood for internal filtering. The first type is the most efficient, as it effectively purifies the air, but this option does require a direct external outlet. The filter hood, in contrast, can be installed anywhere, and extracts steam and odours which rise from the hob, purifying them using a series of filters before rereleasing them into the environment. s long as the filters are regularly replaced, these hoods ensure excellent results. PLUS SENSOR PLUS The Sensor Plus infra-red heat sensor constantly detects the temperature below the hood, automatically switching it on and off. Energy consumption is optimised by the automatic power adjustment system, because the hood switches on only when necessary and automatically switches off when it no longer detects the presence of steam and vapour in the air. FILTER STURTION INDICTORS The hoods are equipped with a visual indicator showing the saturation levels of the anti-grease and active carbon filters. When the indicator lights up, the anti-grease filter must be washed or the carbon filter replaced. BOOSTER By selecting the Booster function, you can increase the power of your hood, for the quick extraction of bad smells or bothersome steam. The active carbon filters must be replaced every - months to ensure the motor continues to run efficiently. It is important to remember that correct use of the hood reduces its operating noise.
