2 Dear Music Lovers, In 2014, the PETROF company celebrates its 150th birthday. My great-great-grandfather Antonín PETROF built his first grand piano in Much has changed since then, but the skill, care and innovatory spirit that go into our pianos have remained. In tribute to our founder we have created the premium brand ANT. PETROF, and present to you the first model of this new series. The AP275 concert grand is intended specifically for use on the world s stages by the most demanding players. It was developed after five years of construction in our Research & Development department, applying the most up-to-date technology. Apart from the new construction and design the piano displays many new technological improvements, some being patented. The balanced sound and wide dynamic range serve to underline the romantic sound of this masterly instrument. This piano is sure to gain the hearts of many professional pianists. 3 Grand piano 275 The grand piano ANT. PETROF 275 is designed and built to fulfill the demands of todays best pianists. Only 1st class materials are used in this instrument. More than 75 % of the operations are done manually and all the operations are performed with the great care. Nothing but top quality is allowed in this new grand from PETROF. It aims to the highest posts, the concert halls and most demanding players, who want to enjoy the differencies between the ANT. PETROF and regular grands. The materials made from 1st class materials The origin 100% European piano, made in PETROF factory in Czech Republic The design Brand new design utilizes the latest results of reaserch as well as the 150 years long PETROF exprience in piano building. The sound floating construction of the soundboard together with new voicing technique brings sound that is strong and colourfull at the same time. The feel all the matters mentioned above won t work without the perfect connection between the pianist and the piano. We know that in PETROF, that is why we gave very special care to the action regulation and keyboard balancing. The result is the smooth and natural feel of the playing and enormous responsiveness.

4 The application of duplexes enriches the graceful PETROF sound. More than 75 % of the operations are done manually by the experienced piano masters. Combination of modern technologies and traditional handcraft enables the perfectly balanced sound together with high reliability of the instrument. ANT. PETROF 275 grand piano is a result of 5 years of development and research in PETROF R&D department. The whole construction is newly designed. Over 50 innovations are used in the construction of the piano, 2 of them were patented. PETROF presents the very top model made in its workshops. The ANT. PETROF 275 is brand new concert grand piano designed for the biggest concert halls and to fulfill the demands of profesional pianists. Traditional family brand ANT. PETROF was choosen for this PETROF flagship. Antonin Petrof, founder of the company, used this abbreviation on his first grand pianos and now, after 150 years, the brand is reborn. Ebony wood of black keys provides pleasant feeling when playing the piano. The white key tops are made from nonslippery polymethylacrylate. All keys are balanced individually. Supporting, adjusting bolt, reinforsing the iron plate. The bridges with special bearing plate patent pending. Assembly of inner frame.

5 BRIDGES Maple wood bridges enable perfect transmission of strings vibrations to the soundboard. Lightened bass bridge reduces loss of energy of vibrating bass strings and enables exceptional sound of bass tones. IRON PLATE CNC drilling of iron plate ensures high accuracy of strings scale. Exact speaking length of the strings creates conditions for optimal strings vibrations and production of bright exact tone. Largely open hitching zone of the plate enables excellent sound propagation from the soundboard. SOUNDBOARD Original design and 2,253 m 2 surface of the soundboard provides high sound power of the piano in its whole tone range and characteristic romantic tone colour. The soundboard is made from European solid spruce wood. WOODEN FRAME Robust solid beech wood frame provides high firmness and ensures longtime tuning stability and action regulation stability what is precondition for excellent performance of a piano player. KEY BED Bulky firm key bed is made from three-layer sendwich of spruce wood veneered with beech venner. It enables high stability of the instrument, providing long lasting stable action regulation and certitude for pianist.

And I believe it will sound beautifully at the concert. 7 Playing the new concert grand piano was really a surprise and discovery for us. I think i tis one of the best instruments, that is available nowadays. The coulourfullnes of the sound of this piano let us perform any compositon exactly as we want to. And it enables us to transmit the emotions to our audience.
