2 Transfer Courses Transfer courses are addressed on a case- by- case basis with your advisor. In general, we don't accept any courses older than six years or technology courses older than two years. Alternative Doctoral Residency Requirements You must take 18 hours of coursework over three consecutive semesters, starting in the Fall. Required Courses: AIL 691 and 5 other courses. The five other courses must include at least three courses on the Tuscaloosa campus and no more than two online/gadsden courses. Must include three semester hour graduate-level course in the history and/or philosophy of education and an additional nine semester graduate hours from Foundations of Education courses or course work outside the Department of Educational Leadership, Policy and Technology Studies in disciplines which are foundational to the student s major.
