Errors and omissions Every effort has been made to write specimen charges that address the majority of offences set out in the various transport-related acts, regulations, rules and bylaws, as well as the alcohol-related infringement offences in the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012, and bylaws made under the Local Government Act If an investigation identifies the need for an additional specimen charge(s) to be written to cover an offence(s) against a transport-related act, regulation, rule or bylaw for which no code has been assign you will need to contact Road Policing Support at Police National Headquarters setting out for what offence(s) specimen charges are required. If the issue relates to alcohol-related offences under the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act or bylaws made under the Local Government Act you will need to contact Legal Services at PNHQ. The same applies to any specimen charge that you believe may contain an error or omission. Every endeavour will be made to meet any such requests. 61 Individual axle weights 1. For each axle the weight on which exceeds the maximum permitted weight for such an axle, the appropriate overloading infringement fee shown in Table No. 1 shall be payable. Two or more consecutive axle weights 2. For each group of 2 or more consecutive axles of a vehicle or combination of vehicles the total of the weights of which exceeds the total of the weights permitted on a group of 2 or more consecutive axles with the recorded distance between the centres of the first and last axle of the group, the appropriate overloading infringement fee shown in Table No. 2 shall be payable. Total axle weight of a vehicle or combination of vehicles 3. For each vehicle the total of the axle weights of which exceeds the permitted total of axle weights for a vehicle with the recorded distance between the centres of the first and last axle of the vehicle, the appropriate overloading infringement fee shown in Table No. 2 shall be payable. 4. For each combination of vehicles the total of the axle weights of which exceeds the permitted total of axle weights for a combination of vehicles with the recorded distance between the centre of the first axle of the first vehicle and the centre of the last axle of the last vehicle, the appropriate overloading infringement fee shown in Table No. 2 shall be payable. Weighing Tolerances 5.
