The Japanese College is well situated in the city centre, just a few minutes from the central train/subway station & close to the banks, post offices and shops, several nearby parks (there s also a good local night life) plus a beautiful beach and resort area (Momochi) less than 20 minutes away. Generally for 90 or 180 days duration. No exceptions can be made. However you do not need to apply for a visa in advance. On arrival in Japan you will be given a 90-day landing permission. If you plan on spending longer than 90 days in Japan you MUST go to Japanese Immigration Office at least one week before your 90 days expires to renew your landing permission. 5 intl t Fukuoka 2016 JLPT Exam Preparation So you can speak Japanese. Can you prove it? The recognised proof of Japanese linguistic ability is the JLPT Exams, accredited by the Ministry of Education. Students can sit the exam each December. It is a perfect supplement to a long term programme. It is also possible to sit the exam in July in Japan (but the school offers course preparation prior to the December exam) Min age: 14 yrs (majority of students will be 18 yrs+ age range) 20 group Japanese lessons plus additional exam orientated classes per week Exam preparation schedule: One hour of class per week, plus homework. Course duration: 2 to 12 weeks Offered: September/November (leading up to the JLPT exams in December) Core classes: As Standard Japanese Course PLUS: Preparation for the JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Tests). Each week your teacher gives you homework, then analyses your weak points and discusses learning strategies with you. This option is available year-round, as a once-weekly option. Please note that you cannot choose which JLPT level you want to prepare for. Teachers at the school will assign a level for you according to your test results.
