3 PRECOMPILED MAPS The following precompiled maps are available in two different size options. Each map contains at least three layers of information that have been pre-set by our Geographic Information Systems (GIS) team. These layers include City and County of Denver Boundaries, streets, precincts and boundaries of political subdivisions. The layers for each map are listed below and all maps are printed in color unless otherwise specified. Printed Maps can be picked up from the Denver Elections Division headquarters at 200 W 14th Avenue, Suite 100 Denver, CO Payment in the form of Cash or Check is due at the time of pickup. Electronic Maps can be purchased on CD-ROM for $15.00 (any size). Electronic files are available in either PDF or ArcView (.mxd) format. 7 CUSTOM MAPS The Denver Elections Division is equipped to create custom maps for those with specific information needs. We can provide expanded layering options that go beyond those offered in the precompiled inventory. For best results our GIS Team recommends you choose no more than 3 major layers for your map but you may choose as many additional features as you like. We recommend you discuss your customization needs with our GIS Team to ensure desired map quality, they can provide you with an estimated time of completion. 8 PRECOMPILED REPORTS The following reports contain information that can be extracted from SCORE, the Statewide Colorado Registration & Election management system, with little or no manipulation. Reports are available in PDF, Text (.txt) Microsoft Excel (.xls) Access (.mdb) or Word (.doc), tab separated value (.tsv), or comma separated value (.csv). Reports do not include Confidential Voters, Social Security Numbers, Driver License Numbers or Birth Dates. District/Precinct Split (DP-002) This report lists precincts in a district and precincts that are split between districts, it also gives precinct counts. 12 CUSTOM REPORTS It becomes necessary to create a custom report when the requestor needs more detail than can be obtained from a standard report. Custom reports require additional data manipulation, development, and additional processing time. For example, the requestor may want a list of all registered Republicans, over 50 years old in 2008 and who voted in the 2008 Primary, and are Permanent Mail-In Voters. In this case, the requestor would need to provide the information as described below. The three things we need to know: What is the purpose of the report? I need to send a campaign letter to active voters. What are the constraints? Must be Active or Inactive Failed to Vote Must be a registered Republican, Democrat, etc Must have voted in the 2008 Primary Must have been at least 50 in 2008 Must be a Permanent Mail-In voter What information is needed?
