3 Directors and Officers Pete Hughes, President, Chief Executive Officer Mr. Hughes is an energy industry specialist for high profile global oil and gas organizations specializing in both the corporate and advisory sectors. Most recently, Mr. Hughes was Vice President of Corporate Development for Petra Petroleum Inc. ( Petra ), a TSXV listed company which recently announced a proposed business combination of Petra and Mitra Energy. Immediately prior to this he was as an advisor to Wintershall s Global Business Unit in Germany which was responsible for the company s new country entry strategy development and execution. He previously spent 18 years in a variety of senior commercial and management roles with Texaco Inc. where he was Vice President, Contracts and Negotiations in the Worldwide Growth Division. Subsequently, Mr. Hughes was CEO of Penton Energy Inc. and Concorde Oil & Gas PLC. Initially, he will be based in London. Richard Graham, P.Geol., Director Mr. Graham is a professional geologist with over 22 years of mineral exploration experience in Canada and overseas. Mr. Graham is currently manager of Corporate Development for Ionic Management Corp. Michael Basha, P.Eng., P.Geo., Director Mr. Basha has been working in the mineral exploration industry for more than 23 years with major and junior companies domestically and internationally. Mr. Basha was instrumental in the discovery of the Hammerdown Gold deposit in Newfoundland. Mr. Basha is currently President of Aurion Resources Corp. Demetrius Pohl, Director Dr. Pohl was a founding director of Sanu Resources Ltd. Dr. Pohl spent 9 years working in West and East Africa as the principal geologist for BHP Minerals Africa. He was involved in the early identification and development of the Syama and Sadiola deposits in Mali, the Essakane deposit in Burkina Faso and the Golden Pride deposit in Tanzania. K. Peter Miller, CFO Mr. Miller has been and is currently the Chief Financial Officer of Ionic Management Corp., a privately owned management company. He obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science degree from the University of Waterloo in 1970 and was granted the designation of Chartered Accountant from the Ontario Institute of Chartered Accountants in Mr. Miller is also a director and/or officer of several other public companies. Sandra Lee, Corporate Secretary Ms. Sandra Lee is a certified legal assistant. Since May 2009, she has been the Corporate Secretary of Ionic Capital Corp., a mortgage investment corporation which trades on the TSX and NYSE Amex. Ms. Lee was also Corporate Secretary of Quest Capital Corp, a public mortgage investment company and is an officer of several other public companies. 2
