Custom Rules can be created where the first 3 digits of the number (999-) must be 192- or 168-, etc

If the results do not satisfy the minimum requirements for a positive result, the process determines that this is not a number and continues looking for more positive results. If the results do meet the minimum requirements, the redaction is updated in the IMS/21 annotations file for that document and the results are written to the QC file for both positive and negative findings.

13 After The OCR reads the Social Security text perfectly as and The ICR reads the Social Security Number as instead of ?9 where? Could be a number 7 or 2 ID protect will locate and redact the handwritten number even though some of the characters are not well formed.

14 After ID protect does not need to be able to read every character of either the text label or the number correctly in order to accurately determine what should be Redacted. Variables include: Minimum Score for automated approval SS# Required per document and minimum qty per document First, Last or Page Range processing allows you to skip pages which would never have a Number.
