The HVS Workflow Engine moves existing cameras based on localized gun shots The Results The City s many video systems now act as one. Upon gunshot localization, cameras are automatically selected and pointed at the scene of the crime. The video being captured and stored today is significantly more valuable for situational awareness and investigation 22

23 Case Study: NY Waterways NYWATERWAY the largest privately owned commuter ferry in the US chose Hitachi Visualization Suite (HVS) to manage their security assets (terminals and ferries). The Problem: Lack of awareness of what is happening on the ferries and terminals. Multiple dashboards to manage security assets. The Solution: HVS allows NYWATERWAY to manage video from disparate systems on a unified web-based platform.
